The company I used to work for actually did some of this obliteration
back in 2002-2003.  Truckloads of shredded F-117 parts (yes, composite
materials mostly) were brought in under a DOD escort.  The escort was
physically present as the parts were loaded into a 2200F furnace and
destroyed.  IIRC, we did 10-12 truckloads.
