I am sure the technology in and around Area 51 is much better, but I
can see the value in a small UAV to cover some of the more difficult
areas in the range. I know it is difficult and time consuming to
protect some of the more out of the way spots, so this would be useful
if the range would allow it to get out to some of the more isolated
spots. I am sure at the base itself there is technology so far
advanced from these examples. I always think, well maybe they already
use something like this, but then I keep having flashbacks to the
Dakota driveway monitor that is strapped to the back gate near Rachel.
Not exactly high tech!
