I was through the Smithsonian Air and Space a few months ago. It
didn't occur to me to photograph the J-79 in painful detail. Doh!
We all do that, as many times I have been to the AF museum at
dayton, I always remember something I really needed a close-up of..
sould have taken the shot I wanted at Dayton, now got to wait until
the next time up..
Really need a clear close up shot of the B-29 pilots left-hand control
console along the wall. need to see the labeling of the two T-handles.
so next time, will get it.....
I've never been to the museum at Dayton. I need an excuse to fly
there. Maybe I'll do the Hamvention once, though that is too geeky
even for me!
Go to Dayton and be prepared to spend a couple of days. Once you've
been you'll thumb your nose at Smithsonian A&S/Udvar-Hazy as nothing
but a couple of big barns.
