 Don't look now but I think the Rapture didn't happen as the man said
it would.  Here's some information from a person who talked about that
subject.

The End Of The World - Not Now, Not Ever

While end of the world "doomsday"  predictions have occurred many
times over thousands of years (even before the B-ble was written),
this latest one may have been the most infamous and publicized of all.
Just two weeks ago, C-ristians around the world waited in eager
anticipation for an angry G-d to punish the wicked of this world, while
the good Ch-istians were safely 'raptured' off to H-aven.

Harold C-mping, the 89-year-old radio preacher from Oakland, California,
gained international fame with his dire prediction that the Chr-stian
rapture would occur on Saturday, May 21. When that day came and
gone without incident, he recalculated the doomsday scenario to occur
on October 21 instead. When that day ends without incident, it may
get extended again, or he may just fade away into obscurity. But he
wasn't the first to make such claims and he won't be last.

These predictions of the destruction of Earth and the subsequent
deliverance of the righteous will always be inaccurate because the
basic premise is wrong concerning the nature of the di-ine hierarchy,
the spi-itual ev-lution of i-carnated beings, and the purpose of our
Earth and other third dimensional planets. Yet these ideas (and other
false premises) are so firmly imbedded into the minds of so many people
around the world, that only time and the certain failure of these events
to unfold will convince 'believers' that they may have been mistaken.

And it's not just the Chri-tians who are expecting to be rescued from
a degenerating planet. There are numerous religi-ns that teach some
form of di-ine intervention in human affairs. And there are even many
'New A-ers' that expect some type of ascension departure or a rescue
from a fleet of space vessels filled with friendly aliens.

While the Ho-y Beings of Light do seek to influence our behaviors in
positive ways through various methods (on this planet as well as others),
there are strict rules against direct intervention unless it's considered
critical to the survival of the planet (such as an all out nu-lear exchange
between countries). What is in place is the law of karma, which dictates
that we reap what we sow, as individuals, families, nations and the
planet as a whole.

Also, the Earth itself is much too important in the overall plan of creation
to allow it to be devastated to the point where the planet is uninhabitable.
People will be in-arnated on the Earth many millions of years yet, so it's
not going anywhere as far as the Hol- Ones are concerned.

So while there will indeed be many planetary changes and challenges,
and 2012 is most certainly a key benchmark point in Earth's history, the
planet will not be destroyed because an angry -od seeks to punish us,
or even due to the close proximity of an orbiting planet closing in on us.

What we should be doing is preparing ourselves by growing in the Light,
and in our love for ourselves and others.  Only then can we evo-ve to
the level that would enable us to ascend to the next spirit-al plane.

Surviving the Challenges of a Changing Earth

Perhaps the one belief that everyone can share and agree with, whether
they be spirit-al or secular in their outlook, is that the Earth is going
through some very challenging times, which will undoubtedly cause
its seven billion inhabitants to experience massive and life-altering
changes in the years ahead. These changes can often be both sudden
and severe, unimaginable consequences.

Whether it be the terrible disaster in Japan, the numerous tornadoes
sweeping the midwest of the Uni-ed States, or the terrible, anticipated
earthquakes yet to occur, many lives are being turned upside down. And
combined with the increase in a-med conflicts, the global economic
disaster, and anticipated food and water shortages, people in the know
are wondering just how bad it's all going to get.

From strictly a secular viewpoint, it's going to get really bad!  But from
a spi-itual perspective, there has never been a time in the history of
our planet, when so many have had the opportunity to progress so far
in their spi-itual development!

It's not what happens to us and around us that matters, but rather how
we react to what is happening.  The -oly Ones of the Light fully expect
the next few decades to be a time of unprecedented spirit-al growth
for the people of this planet. People will learn to grow in love for
themselves and love for others in new and remarkable ways.  We have
much to look forward to in the years ahead.
