Subject: Bean Tree.
April 1, 2012.
About 20 years ago I saw the following advertisemet in or on magzine
like Popular Science that said the following information:
Bean Tree
60 feet tall and lives 100 years.
Five seeds $2:00
Free information.
Staton, Rt. 1.
De Valle, Texas, 78617
De Valle is about 12 miles Southeast of Austin, Texas.
I waited for 5 years and finally send in an order for the seed.
The mail box was no longer used by this person. I couldn't even
contact the post office in that area. Now that 20 more years has
past I would still like to know how I can get in contact to buy some
of the seed or trees. It may be a good substiture for coffee and
can be grown in the USA or on the high plains of Texas near
Lubbock and Brownfield, Texas. It may can be eaten as a bean
like pinto beans but they grown on a vine and you have to plant them
every year. My friend Margaret Rustan has just moved to Texas
so maybe she can help me find them. She is the lady who went inside
of Mt. Shasta many years ago and I repeated her story on the
internet.
Anyway, anyone who can help me with this information, please
do it.
