I have always found the idea of life existing somewhere other than on
earth very fascinating. While we are on the subject, Carl Sagan once
stated what he beleived to be the number of advanced civilizations in
our galaxy alone. I can't remember if he said either said 10,000 or
1,000,000. Does someone know what number he actually said? Thank you
and...have a nice day.

el: "It doesn't matter who says it, whether Sagan or Drake, no one can
say that there is life anywhere in creation other than on earth. So, in
reality, it doesn't matter what the number is. Make up your own, it
carries just as much weight."
