The article was of no scientific value. The real questions simply were
not addressed while the author wandered off on her own speculations.

el: "There are no real questions regarding alleged alien abduction
claims. We all know the game that's being played."

Not that I agree with Mack's approach, nonetheless, the actual abduction
experiences themselves have so much physical and testimonial
corroboration that its reality cannot be denied by any honest
researcher.

el: "It's amazing that this continues, much like agri-glyphs, the face
on Mars, etc. There is no physical corroboration and because of this it
is easy to dismiss these tales."

This is why the article was actually rather strange. There was no effort
whatsoever to explain the real evidence that suggests a reality in the
phenomenon. To ignore evidence is not scientific.

el: "There is no "real evidence" therefore no effort is needed. The
phenomenon is not real, it exists only in the mind of those who need
psychiatric care. No one is ignoring anything since there is no
evidence to consider. Science works only WITH evidence."
