But Icke claims he is not anti-jewish. He says that jews are being
unwittingly controlled by the aforementioned alien lizards as are all of
us.

Just because a group of the evil people on Earth just happen to be Jewish,
doesn't make you anti-Jewish. Anti-Zionist maybe, but not anti-Jewish.

As someone who saw his performance on the Wogan chat show years ago
dressed all in turquoise and claiming to be the son of God, I think it is
abundantly clear the guy has problems.

Not necessarily. If you were a down to Earth, ordinary person who didn't
understand New Agey stuff at all, and you suddenly had a life-changing
experience, you too would try to categorise me. We are ALL sons (and
daughters) of God (if you believe in that kind of thing!), so by saying he
was the son of God, he didn't mean he was THE son of God, but was merely
trying to explain something that was outside his previous experience.
I'd recommend reading his books, or actually chatting to him (something
I've done several times) and you'll get a much better picture than a
one-off media shot.

He isn't nearly as blatant about it as some other nuts are, and I'm not
convinced that his anti-jewish beliefs form the core of his particular
blend of illumati, global conspiracies and rejects from 'V'. It all
depends on whether the alien lizard story is his main agenda or is just
there to make the anti-jewish elements more palatable.

I must admit that I find the lizard theory rather outlandish, but then
again, it is explained in better detail in the books, than in the videos.

One of the protestors said, when being asked to back up his allegation
that Icke is anti-semetic, "I don't have any evidence but his type
usually are". Now while that might be generally true, protestors must
make damn sure of the ground they're standing on before making such an
allegation.

Most protestors I've spoken to (at David Icke meetings) have been totally
ignorant over the facts, not even having read his books. Indeed, I'd go so
far as to say that some protestors are deliberately put in place by the
government in order to spread confusion.
