When one views all the testimony related
to the event, one can only wonder why
all the various stories point to the same
general conclusion, that an alien craft
crashed at Roswell. If it were just
fantasy, there should have been a wider
range of stories, which one would expect
to not corroborate in any part. Also the
military response simply cannot be
explained by anything less than what is
claimed to have happened.
You take the case of Atlantis. You have a story that happened over
10,000 years ago. There is nothing left but the tale which may not have
been based on reality. You have modern interpreters of said story.
They start believing that Atlantis is just around the corner. You have
Edgar Cayce prophesying that it's going to appear off Bimini. It
doesn't happen yet he is still used as a source. You have people
looking in Peru! for god's sake. You have tales of a global flood
because the bible said so. Never mind that it's an impossibility.
There is nothing but bullshit going happening all over the place and
there will always be people who will believe and support the bullshit.
After all, Lord Sutch had top musicians playing for him and he still
sucked as a singer.
For those who are interested in this, I
would highly recommend reading all of
Randy's (RDElephant) posts on the topic
as he has done an excellent job of
exposing the myths and fallacies of logic
usually employed here by the so-called
debunkers.

One believing fool recommending another believing fool's blabber. RD
hasn't done an exposing and, at least, the so-called debunkers are right
on this one. Nothing out of this world, not made by humans, landed near
Roswell. The believers
deserve all the derision that such beliefs generate.
