=================THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS=======================
1. Who takes ETs seriously?
2. Where is the proof that ET is visiting us?
3. Why is ET visiting us?
4. What does it take to become a professional UFOlogist?
========================AND THE ANSWERS===============================
------------------Answer to question number one-----------------------
Many kinds of people from all walks of life have come forward to say that they
have seen an UFO. There have been cases of ex-presidents, governors,
congressmen, policemen, professional astronomers, airplane pilots of all types,
military officers, radar operators, and various scientists, but the vast
majority of people who take ET seriously have been medical professionals, TV
crews, publicity seekers, and gullible people.
Most people will blindly assume that since many of the former people just listed
are highly trained and well educated, that this would make it impossible for
them to lie or to have any reason to lie. Science is not prejudiced and treats
everyone equally, credible or not, because even the most highly trained and
educated people in the world can be fooled by optical illusions, as evidenced by
confirmed cases where highly trained military pilots have been caught chasing
weather balloons. No amount of training or education can prevent hallucinations,
optical illusions, mistakes, or lies from happening. As the scientific method
teaches us, being considered a credible witness does not insure that the person
will tell the truth. Scientific credibility has to do with verification of facts
and confirmation that an UFO sighting was not a result of delusion, illusion,
mistaken identity, daydreaming, or lying than it does with who is telling the
story.
------------------Answer to question number two-----------------------
Nowadays, almost everybody and their cousins have camcorders and some of these
individuals are videotaping certain things in the sky that sometimes are (and
sometimes are not) evident to the human eye at the time the picture was taken.
The problem is that by claiming that they weren't "evident to the human eye"
when the picture was taken, they mean that the people taking the pictures or
video shots didn't notice any strange objects until after they were DEVELOPED
later on, proof that the "UFOs" were not alien craft at all, but a result of one
of the artifacts of modern day photography and camcorders called "noise,"
"smudges," "scratches," etc -- exactly what most "UFO" sightings look like.
Then on the other hand, even when the object was evident to the human eye, the
vast majority of photographic evidence of UFOs are useless junk because they
fail one or more of the following reasonable criteria:
1. The object and it's surroundings must be clearly visible,
2. The object and it's surroundings must be distinct,
3. There must be visual references to enable one to accurately
determine size and distance to the object.
Even then, only unless an UFO photo can be proven to not be faked, only then can
it be considered as evidence. Otherwise, a "good photo" is nothing more than a
"good photo" because, contrary to public opinion, the experts ARE very easy to
fool so there really can be no such thing as a "good photo" anymore. In this day
and age of computer enhancing technology, the only irrefutable media evidence
would be two video clips or pictures showing the same object at the same time
from two completely different points of view, taken by two entirely different
and unrelated people.
This not to say that all UFO pictures are fakes, since some are due to the sheer
ignorance of the way cameras work, for example, the laughable attempt by many
people to pass off lens flares as "UFOs" (See
http://www.byamerican.com/orbs/may7b1999 for example).
And what about alien implants? Do we actually have alien implants in our
possession as evidence that ET is visiting us? In the past, somehow the aliens
had always been able to "steal the evidence" before we could get our hands on it
(like Budd Hopkins says they always do in his book, "Witnessed"), but lately
there has been publicized cases of alien implant retrievals. Unfortunately,
instead of having the appropriate logical structure of, for example, what an
integrated circuit would be expected to have and what a monitoring implant
DEVICE would be expected to have, instead all we have is a few irregularly
shaped pieces of material that look suspiciously like ordinary debris fragments
or shards of pure glass.
Most cases of ET abduction appear to be nothing more than a case of wishful
thinking but the fact that many abductees report that they are also extremely
traumatised by their experiences under hypnosis lead many people find it
difficult to believe that abductees are resorting to "wishful thinking". But do
these same people also find it difficult to believe that people can have
suicidal tendancies? Yet they exist. What about women in abusive relationships
or people with guilty consciences? Or what about stigmatism? Alien abductions
are just a more novel way to abuse oneself instead of entering an abusive
relationship or punishing oneself for ones imagined past "sins".
All that a hypnotic induced confession proves is that the person under hypnosis
BELIEVES they were abducted and not that they were ACTUALLY abducted, and that
is why any references to people under hypnosis giving accounts of being abducted
by aliens is considered unreliable and not acceptable as evidence.
More importantly, what makes anyone think that medical professionals, such as
hypnotists and psychologists, would know the difference between reality and
hallucination anymore than anyone else? Haven't they ever wondered why insurance
companies suggest that patients always get a second or maybe even a third
opinion on important health matters? Haven't they ever heard of medical fraud?
And what about medical professionals like acupuncturists, or faith healers, or
psychic healers, or chiropracters, or Christian Scientists? Obviously it would
be very wise to be a well informed person before going in to see a medical
professional to avoid getting professionally robbed. You see, medical
professionals are people too, and just like people, they too want a piece of the
pie and to hop on the alien bandwagon of money making opportunities that can be
had by sponsoring people's fantasies.
The fact is, there is no verifiable evidence of any alien abductions,
landings, or sightings, despite the supposed occurance of thousands of such
things happening each year. How can something so common and so "physically
real", never ever leave any physically real evidence? Isn't it kind of a strange
coincidence that dreams and hallucinations correspond to what abductees
experience? So why is it that every alleged UFO sighting is accompanied by a
complete and total lack of evidence? Why is it in the nature of every single UFO
sighting, landing, or abduction that has ever been claimed, to not leave a
single trace of proof that it actually took place?
-----------------Answer to question number three----------------------
Would you be willing to buy into the story that an intellectually superior race
that could travel interstellar distances, would go through all the trouble to
come to our planet just to put on an airshow for our viewing pleasure? And that
the highlight of this show is to create silly patterns in wheat fields and
mutilate cattle? As you can see, the only ones putting on a show for us here are
the UFO believers who will stop at nothing to descend the deepest depths of
gullibility in order to justify their make believe religion.
It used to be that UFO stories mainly were about "lights" but they have recently
graduated to sexual assaults and medical exams where the abductees are tagged
with implants. If a civilization techologically advanced enough to be able to
traverse lightyears of space were interested in our genetic material, surely
they could just land on a spermbank at 3AM or take some skin scrapings or saliva
samples...anything besides rape and the associated risk of getting a sexually
transmitted disease even ET never heard of yet. People were sexually assaulted
by incubi and sucubi for hundreds and hundreds of years before ET came along, so
apparently the story is still the same, only the names of the innocent have
changed (from "incubus" and "sucubus" to the "grays").
This doesn't mean that UFOs are not real because UFOs are "real" to those that
experience them. But let's make one thing clear: They are only mentally real and
not physically real. They are orginating from within the minds of people and not
from actual reality, hence the reason for complete and total lack of evidence
for ET sightings or abductions, despite thousands of such alleged occurances of
such events every year.
All UFO sightings are alleged sightings. Imaginary things do not leave
evidence, very similiar to the way all alleged ET sightings and abductions leave
absolutely no evidence. It is no coincidence that dreams and hallucinations
correspond exactly to what abductees experience. Furthermore, if the events
found to occur in actual reality contradict the way events are found to occur in
certain peoples unverified reports of reality, we have evidence that they aren't
reporting reality but they are reporting optical illusions, mental delusions, or
outright lies. Any observation that relies just on experience, testimony, or
interpretation instead of facts is simply just unadulterated storytelling. This
describes every single alleged UFO encounter to date.
If a UFO landed right in front of me, I know for a fact that it would leave some
kind of evidence behind (that's the nature of things that actually exist in
physical reality). In real life, UFOs never leave a single shred of evidence
behind, despite literally millions of claims of UFO sightings...and a complete
lack of evidence where much is expected is proof of the non-existence of UFOs.
If someone tells you, "There's a UFO parked in your garage right now and the
aliens are marching out in droves right into your backyard this moment!", all
you have to do to disprove that is go outside and look. If it isn't there then
the alleged UFO in your garage didn't and doesn't exist. This is an example of
where a complete lack of evidence is proof of the non-existence of an alleged
event. Likewise, the complete lack of evidence where much is expected in regards
to UFOs is proof that they didn't and don't exist.
But just so you don't feel all alone, if you are a believer that is, let me make
a confession: I recently read Phillip Krapf's book, "The Contact has Begun". In
this book he describes a 5'4", gray-with-a-green-tint colored woman who is a
"sweet, charming, kind, gentle," good dancer, highly intelligent, and sexy woman
named Gina. So guess what? I'm madly in love with her. I really really wish this
woman actually existed. So I went out and bought a copy of Phillip's book. I
even sent Phillip three letters since November of '98. I may be crazy for having
such fantasies <grin>, but that doesn't mean I am stupid. I realize that my
obsession with this make believe alien woman is not reality, it is only a
fantasy.
Nevertheless, I still refuse to allow my fantasies to take place of
reality...and that is the difference between skeptics like me and the fad
followers of UFO cults -- skeptics like myself are the only ones who have the
honesty and the guts to admit it is only a fantasy.
-----------------Answer to question number four-----------------------
For years, many concerned believers have wanted to be let in on the secrets on
how to be a successful Newsgroup UFO proponent and thank God their prayers have
finally been answered! Now anyone can become a member of the world's largest
cult without spending a dime! All it requires is that you read this post with an
open mind -- but remember to read every other post other than this one with a
closed mind!! So without further delay, here is the first lesson. The first
thing you need to know is how to speak the language of UFOlogists:
WHAT THE UFOLOGIST SAYS.........WHAT THE UFOLOGIST MEANS
--------------------------------------------------------
"This poorly taken
photo is proof that
UFOs exist" ........."I'm clueless"
"There are millions of
UFO witnesses, they are
just too afraid to come
forward for fear of
ridicule" ........."I have no witnesses"
"The alien implants
were here a moment
ago!" ........."I have no facts"
"I can't prove that
alien abductions
happen, but neither
can you prove that
they don't happen" ........."I still have no facts"
"The government is
conspiring to withold
the truth from us" ........."You'll think I'll have facts, but I
won't"
The second lesson is to learn the rules of posting:
#1) Always repost the same 'ol story -- It's true, UFO proponents
always post the same ol' story over and over again, acting as if
they repeat it enough times, someone somewhere will eventually
believe it is true just from hypnotic repetition -- and they are
right!
#2) Spam. The more you talk the more somebody is bound to listen
eventually.
#3) Ignore all credible posts. We are here to fool the public not be
believable.
#4) IMPORTANT: As often as possible, the following sentence must be
used as frequently as possible, usually on a daily basis: "You
are the delusional one, not me!". A variation of this approach is
the ever famous, "I know you are but what am I?".
#5) When discussing alien abductions, the word "confabulation" should
be denied at all costs.
#6) Whatever you do, proponents, never discuss the facts. Those are
items we do not want to discuss. We just want to discuss
unvalidatable experiences and unconfirmed testamonials, just like
the kind you see on the front cover of those grocery store
tabloids!
#7) If you have to respond to a request for a fact or two, then make
something up. Remember that the ETs are such an ultra-advanced
species that anything is possible for the ETs -- trust me!
#8) Don't tell the public anything except what you want them to hear.
Pretend we know what we are talking about and that we have told
the public everything. The bigger the lie the better the lie. If
anyone suggests that the National Reconnaissance Office or NASA
or the CIA or the National Security Agency is NOT hiding
information, pretend you have "insider information" on all of
them, that supercedes anything they could ever possibly come up
with!!!
#9) Attack the person - try and change the topic from the request for
facts to the person requesting the facts. Remember that it is
THEY who are the close-minded ones, not us, so make sure you
emphasize this point!
#10) Discredit the late Carl Sagan all you can while you are at it,
especially now that he can't defend himself! Remember that Carl
Sagan is delusional, a liar, is a puppet for the CIA, loves fried
peanut butter and bananna sandwiches, etc.
Keep this in mind: Members of the Intelligence Agencies could care less about
whatever drivel...uh, I mean facts you have to repost, so say whatever you want
without fear because nothing bad will ever come of it.
Easy, isn't it? But wait! There's more! Lesson three is to learn how to deal
with skeptics. To misquote Ayn Rand, "UFO skeptics have a weapon against you
called Reason. So you must be very sure to take it away from them. Cut the props
from under it. But be careful. Don't deny outright. Never deny anything
outright, you give your hand away. Don't say that reason is evil -- though some
have gone that far and with astonishing success. Just say that reason is
limited. That there's something above it. What? You don't have to be too clear
about it either. The field's inexhaustible: 'Remote Viewing' -- 'ESP' --
'Feeling' -- 'Revelation' -- 'Divine Intuition'. But even if you get caught at
some crucial point and somebody tells you that your alleged UFO experience
doesn't make sense -- you're ready for them. You tell them that there's
something above sense. That here he must not try to think, he must *feel*. He
must *believe*. Suspend reason and you play it deuces wild...Can we rule a
thinking skeptic? We UFOlogists don't want any thinking people."
