Actually, the problem UFology has is itself. There is zero hard science,
only conjecture, unsubstantiated claims, outright lies, and perhaps some
degree of psychosis and other forms of mental illness.

el: "Yeah, you're definitely correct. Ignore the, by now, millions of
photos, films, videos taken by equipemt that cannot judge what it's
recording. The problem with UFOlogy is jerks such as you."

dl: What is the problem with asking for hard evidence? Do no parts EVER fall
off these supposedly alien craft? Do they NEVER drop an alien candy wrapper?
Supposedly they crash, where are the pieces? Unidentified smudges on film or
video are unidentified smudges.

Falling back on the old tried and true "governmental cover-up" excuse
doesn't do it for me either.

el: "You can't deny that there have been governmental cover-ups
connected with UFO reports but not for the reasons given by blind
believers."

Does life exist in other parts of the universe? Of that I have no doubt.

el: "So, here we have circumstancial evidence for unknown "craft" which
you dont accept, but you accept life on other parts of the universe for
which we have bupkis evidence. What a harebrained "skeptic."

dl: Well, to be fair, he has concrete evidence that life can exist on a
planet. The extrapolation to other planets is not completely unjustified.

Intelligent life? Of that I have no doubt as well. Is it simply a belief
I have? Yes.

el: "With that comment you admit that you are a conditioned individual
who doesn't rely on evidence for beliefs, nay, a knowing."

dl: I don't know why he phrases it that way, seeing as he has concrete
evidence that intelligent life can exist on planets. The extrapolation to
other planets is not completely unjustified.
