In article <dsp1b.16782$cJ5.1871@www.newsranger.com>, Sir Arthur C. B.
E. Wholeflaffers A.S.A. says...

CASE THREE: "There's going to be a rebellion." by Preston Dennett

'You're not a part of this, so don't be a part o it. Get away from
all of it.'...The other thing too is some thing about an earthquake, a
big earthquake. Something like that...but the thing that stuck out the
most was, 'Why are you so involved? Why are you letting this consume
your time? It's not worth it, and it's all going to fall apart."

Are there other abductees that feel this way?

I've always felt this planet was doomed. I've been preparing for a "Mad
Max" type of existence most of my life. Twenty years ago I bought a $200
Katadyn pocket water filter and have been accumulating other survival and
camping gear since. I've never used any of it, but I'm glad I still have
it all and want/need more.

Lately, I've been interested in "voluntary simplicity", living off the
grid with solar electric and heat, making my own stuff from scratch
(ethanol, soap, wine, radios, homes) and foraging for wild foods (Steve
Brill's books- yesterday I tried a handful of gingko nuts from a tree
down my block)

I also never had an interest in a career, or working most of my life. I
plan on buying a two family house, renting out both families, living in
an apartment over the garage and going into semi-retirement in a few
years- I'm 38.

And I also have a nagging feeling that we're running out of time.
