Subject: Abuse
Please forgive the apparent length of this post; it is sent with the
identifying tracing information intact, as advised by my attorney.
Robert Wolfe claims to be on IT staff at University of Pittsburgh as
the ' Bioinformatics Supervisor' , allegedly for the Genetics
Laboratory.
While in your employ he has posted the following from
genetics.pitt.edu in an attempt, it appears, to cast aspersion/smear
both myself and my business in the mind of the general public by
posting his erroneous information and conclusion(s) to the Usenet
discussion group misc.consumer, far outside of the area where he and I
have debated, the Usenet alt.alien.* newsgroups.
To send this material to the misc.consumer group is a deliberate, not
accidental act on the part of Mr. Wolfe--and he did so from your
University, on your equipment.
I request that you take action to stop Mr. Wolfe from continuing in
his aspersion/smear campaign, and discipline him for the actions he
has taken so far. In addition, I would ask for a formal apology from
University of Pittsburgh and Mr. Wolfe for attempting to damage my
business and professional as well as personal reputation. Said apology
should be widely disseminated through the newsgroups mentioned in the
attached tracing information, with especial emphasis on the
misc.consumer discussion group.
Thank you for your consideration. Full text of the abusive material
follows. I look forward to your reply.
