About 7:30pm I was night fishing off the shore of Halfmoon Lake & had
a similar sighting to the Wis. Rapids Oct. 23 2003 report. I believe I
was facing eastward looking over the water. Conditions were very calm,
quiet, dark with partial cloud cover. I did not see these lights come
in from anywhere; they were just there when I looked up above the tree
line across the lake. Red & blue strobe lights moving in random
directions & speeds, hovering at times. They appeared to be within 1
or 2 miles of me. At one point it changed to more like an orange/white
sphere moving my direction & then back, strobing red & blue again very
close to the tree line moving very erratic, then went down below the
tree line but not at the airport. This is near the airport; I could
see the rotating light from the airport far off to the side. This was
not a plane that I know of or helicopter (no sound either). I could
still see flashing lights through the tree line where it went down for
a couple of min. Total sighting time about 5-6 min. I continued
fishing & lost track of them.

I was traveling from the mobil gas station on Hwy 10 East going East
towards Wal-mart. I observed a circular yellow-orange-red flashing
light looking out my windshield on the left side of my truck. I
watched the object go above the tree line straight east of Wal-mart.
This sighting took place at Hwy 10 and Brilowski Road in Stevens
Point, WI. The object passed from the North over Fleet Farm to the
South East over Wal-Mart's parking lot then disappeared.
