What is the Best Evidence for Time Travel that you can provide...???
[...]
There is a book that came out a many years ago. I forgot the title, but it
was about possible evidence left behind by time travelers that was found
either during excavations or during a dig. Some findings were impressive
while others laughable. One I noted was a "shoe" imprint in the soil that
had hardened. It was estimated to be in a soil layer that is millions of
years of age.

The problem with the "shoe" imprint is that it was found in sometime I
think between the 30s-50s.

I admit it does look like a shoe imprint, but..It look like a leather shoe
sole with stitching.
Most shoes during the time of the find did look like this, but today
technology has advanced and the only shoes that have stitching are dress
shows with leather soles.

Would you go hiking about with leather sole shoes?

That reminds me of something that is stirring the archaeological community
right now, but most people in the fringe-science community are completely
ignoring: Kennewick Man. As it turns out, there _was_ this skeleton that
scientists have examined and verified that it was indeed that of a European
that had arrived in Washington state before the Native Americans did.
According to the US Army, they burried the archaeological site in concrete
and lost the skeleton out of respect for the Native Americans. The
viciousness of the US Army cover-up is really interesting and is precisely
what was alleged as part of the Roswell incident. Mind you, I don't believe
that Roswell happened as it is portrayed by Dr Stanton Friedman, even
though it is clear that something happened. However, the fact that the US
Army, on the record and in full view of Congressional oversight did exactly
what was alleged in connection with Roswell, is really the only thing that
makes me think that there _might_ be something to UFOs/time-travel, let
alone a connection between UFOs and time travel. Maybe there are people at
DoD that have figured out that the only way UFOs make sense is if they were
time machines. Paraphrasing Pogo, we have met the aliens and they are us!

I am of course just speculating out loud. I know that this is something I'd
never want to take to a colloquium. I don't even really believe all this.
But if true, then UFOs deserve to be covered up. After all, who could you
trust, if you knew that the most mutilating global war is yet to be fought
and it would be based on using bombs that alter human DNA as a weapon of
mass destruction and that a time machine was humanity's best hope and that
"somebody" (presumably the winner) had one? One thing I am absolutely
certain about: anyone inventing a time machine better keep it well hidden,
since he would immediately be targeted for assassination/destruction by
those who would want to steal it.
