No on both counts. All I care about is the misinformed or misguided get an education -- learn something and then make up their own minds. To have an opinion or belief without learning all one can about the subject they form their beliefs about is profoundly stupid.
Also a web search of MKULTA will reveal more about the CIA's mind control experiments. Warning: much of it is diffficult reading and not for the timid or easily frightened. It's VERY scary stuff. It doesn't take very much to scare the profoundly stupid, such as yourself.
Two points: (1) In my opinion the alien contact experience isn't as scary as the CIA and their MKULTRA experiments. What human beings do to each other is far worse than what aliens have done to human beings. (2) Intelligence and emotion are not necessarily equivalent. One can be intelligent and feel fear. But to allow emotion, such as fear, to supercede intelligence (and common sense) is also profoundly stupid -- but only if the animal which feels the fear has the brain power to think -- such as human beings. Animals flee in fear as self-protection. On the other hand when human beings feel fear they tend to annihilate each other and become self-destructive. In the case of aliens and contemplating the alien contact experience, there's no place to flee to. Human beings must face the fact that we are not alone in the universe and deal with that intelligently, manage their fear, or otherwise they will self-destruct.
