Religious organizations can't handle the fact that the aliens are immortal,
and can make any human being immortal also. The aliens can recreate a
deceased person, just like they were in life, memories and all.

I don't think religious organizations can handle that much stress on their
belief systems.

Religious organizations are primarily interested in Money.
They battle with each other over 'we are right, you must be wrong'
and have provoked many wars doing so.

If war wasn't profitable, there would be no wars. But that aside, there are
people at the very top of the money chain who believe, deludedly so, that
they're 'holy' men, and they're quite insane.

If an outside credible source could prove them all 'wrong' it only
stands to reason that they would lose followers = money on a large
scale. This would collapse most religions, and seriously downsize
the others. It poses a threat to their existance.

Actually, they're more primitive than that.

Below I pasted a post I directed to you in a different thread.
Perhaps you missed it, it was a very long thread 390+ posts.

I missed it, I'm not particularly interested in what goes on here in the
newsgroups except for giggles. But it seems I'm requested to post
by our alien pals, who post here. So I oblige them.

We are not all idiots to believe humans have to
be reverse engineered to be compatible with anything particularly a
space craft that is made of molecules, atoms and physically existing,
since everything we know is made of the same properties.

Human beings will indeed have to be reverse engineered in order to use the
alien technology 'cause the guidance system for the alien technology is
their minds.

TommyKnockers ?

I have no clue what that is.

Steven King story about a saucer in Maine.
The guidance system required the pilot to plug in.

Didn't read it, but I have read of experimental
guidance systems using something similiar with eye movements.
They're working on similiar types of guidance systems, but they have not
come close to the alien's guidance systems. The aiens' guidance systems are
run by thought.

And as a side note: the aliens use nanotechnology to manufacture things.
They also use it to manufucture their own bodies.

Ahh, nanobotage, of course. This implies that they would be more
machine than a biological organism.

They're sentient bio/machines -- but living. Artificially sentient created
life. They're as sentient and alive as humans are -- even moreso. They
just skip the reproductive process.

Can they still reproduce sexually
or do they depend entirely upon nanobotage for reproduction ?

The do not reproduce sexually, and had little knowledge of sexual
reproduction until they came here.

The aliens can also
manufacture a human body and 'core dump' their brain imprint into the new
body. Essentially this is immortality.

Sounds similar to 'the sixth day' a movie starring Arnie, you know ,
the Gov of Cal.

No I don't know. But you can skip that part. No offense, but it doesn't
interest me.

This opens up a favorite conundrum of mine.

If the aliens can 'core dump' as you say, an entire brain imprint
into a new 'vessel' would the self awareness, consciousness,
also be transfered of the original 'person' ?

Yes.

Or would the 'new' me be just a reflection of everything I was ?

A continuation of what you were from the point of replication. There could
be two of you in two places, each would progress living from there like two
separate people.

They can also manufacuture the body
of a deceased person and recreate them -- they're an exact replica of the
living person, memories intact.

Again, would the reconstituted person have the same Id, ego, self
awareness of the old dead person ?

Yes.

Would it be like going to sleep and waking up a new you ?

They can do that also, give you a different body.

Or would the replicated being have it's
own self awareness but with all the old memories of the deceased ?

Yes.
