Trying to follow this string, it seems the evidence of "no human
evolution" is a finger in coal deposits? Seems to be a scant fossil
record compared to all the skulls and bones that I've seen that have
been unearthed so far.
Please present your corroborating evidence--Carbon dating should work
pretty well on coal, I should think. Then the age of the finger will
tell the story.
Analysis of the finger's DNA can almost be used to date the finger,
but will show where it came from with respect to it's match to human
genetics.
I'm guessing, though, that you see a conspiracy in almost all science
departments at all leading universities?
You wouldn't have any particular religious affiliations, would you?
Here in the Bible belt, we think there's a conspiracy the other way.
Free thought and free expression is at the risk of losing jobs, social
stigmatization, shame, and disgrace. Christian persecution, here, is
in the form of God being preached at public school functions and
evolution being left out of the high school text books.
There's a simple test as to any proponent's agenda.Truth seekers want
to find out what is true and they are willing to ruthlessly discard or
radically alter their theories to whatever extent necessary to align
with the new facts or the latest evidence.
"True" believers, on the other hand, want what they believe to be
true, regardless of how cumbersome their theories need to be to
encompass all known data, evidence, and facts. Historical example:
Rube Goldberg would have been proud of the Ptolemaic description of
the solar system: earth at the center, sun revolving around it; some
planets changing direction in space to accomodate this cosmology.
I am concerned, however, that in coming to power the religious right
may have any number of the natural laws repealed. If they're in power
too long they'll pack the Supreme Court until trials for heresy will
be found to be constitutional.
Wouldn't itbe great if there was a country where freedom from religion
was assured?
