In some aspects Greer is correct, there will have to be a HUGE world
conflict and terrorization of everyone which will cause the change over to a
machine like race in order to survive.

It will take time, but that's man kind's destiny.  The people who are here
now won't like it because they haveto give up the things they think they
want, but in the end survival will win out -- we'll be a machine race.
