The site does require you to log-in, but thats free and easy. You'll get a
table of times and locations for when the Iridium satellites are in such a
position to reflect sunlight, causing a brief FLASH in the sky.
The ability to predict such an event to the precise second is a good example
of how the scientific method works, and also provides a fun thing to do on a
winters evening.
This part is more interesting than actually seeing it would be!
A guy in the physics newsgroup called "spaceman" constantly argues
against everyone else's current view of time, and characterizing event
with *our* (read earth creatures) particular standards for it.
This would shut him up for a while.
