How My Beliefs Have Changed

It is difficult to be succinct when discussing the topic of
alien abductions or religion, but to bring the two subjects
together in the same article is quite a task, not to mention
controversial. The reason I am writing this is because I am
often asked how my beliefs have changed since I began my
investigation into the abduction phenomenon ten years ago. This
article is my attempt to answer a question I have put off
answering for quite some time.

Background

I was Confirmed at the age of 13 in the Lutheran church. I went
to church every Sunday until I was eighteen years old. I don't
remember ever leaving church feeling good about myself or life
in general. I always felt worse, rather than better; I was made
to feel guilty rather than hopeful and uplifted. I never
understood that, but I knew I didn't like it.

When I was about 21, I began attending a Fundamentalist
Christian church when an event involving a yellow light
occurred. [1] After some rather bizarre conversations about
whether this light was from God or Satan, and after learning
about some of the people I was involved with, I realized these
people were dangerous. As I look back on that time, with their
attempts at trying to get me to quit college my senior year and
to disown my family and friends, I realize this church was more
of a cult than a house of worship and enlightenment.

The next time I set foot in a church was when I married Mark, my
first husband. The wedding was rather strange. We had to have a
Lutheran minister and a Catholic priest marry us, and I had to
promise that our children would be raised as Catholics. It is
fortunate we did not have children because that marriage ended
in divorce.

It was actually just after meeting Erik (my present husband) and
his introducing me to some study books about Edgar Cayce's
teachings, that I began to have any sort of idea about
Spirituality and a connection to God. I never joined a "Cayce
group" or got caught up in it, but from that time forward, I
slowly began to develop an understanding of God. That was
thirteen years ago.

Ironically, this was also the time my experiences began to occur
more frequently. I was retaining conscious memories of what I
would later learn were alien abductions. In 1987, I read my
first book about UFOs and the abduction phenomenon, and the rest
is history. It seemed I finally had an explanation for my
strange memories - my "unusual" life.

Present

In 1996, I came to the conclusion that the aliens have taken
much more from me than they have given. This realization began
chipping away at my neutral feelings toward the aliens. I cannot
speak for all of the beings who have interacted with humans, but
some of these aliens have forced me and many other people to
exist in a perpetual state of duress. Their interaction with us
has ruined our marriages and careers; has caused health problems
and, according to some researchers, even terminal illnesses.

Relating this to the subject of our discussion, living under
such extreme pressures has forced me to look at my inner
strengths for survival. When my inner strength is exhausted, I
am forced to reach out to that which created me: God.

I am slowly gaining strength from God. I believe God is real and
that God cares. However, I also understand that the decisions I
make have a strong effect on the direction my life takes.

Stopping Abductions

During a recent correspondence with hypnotherapist and abduction
researcher Donna Higbee, we were discussing the subject of
stopping abductions. She wrote about this subject in her
article, What Would You Do? [4 a-b] The suggestions she provided
were familiar to me. I had tried the "mental struggle,"
"righteous anger," and "protective rage," and although it took
about a year for these to work for me, I think they helped.

I do not believe these techniques will work if there is even one
molecule in your body that still wants to participate - even if
it is for the learning experience or for curiosity's sake.
Unless every (proverbial) fiber in your body believes you really
want them out of your life, they will know it and they will come
back.

Today, when I think I may be curious about them, I concentrate
on God (or the Creative Force) and I say, "If I need answers -
or if I need truth about this phenomenon, it will come from God
- not aliens." It's a way to remind myself and the aliens, that
I am aware of the enormous manipulative abilities they have.

The fact that I haven't seen any of the frail greys with the
wrap-around eyes in over a year, may be indicative that at some
level, they have heard my mental pleas, and have felt my
righteous anger and protective rage. Unfortunately, I continue
to have experiences during which I see hybrid type beings and -
of all things - military personnel. In addition to these two
groups, I continue to have benign experiences with beings I call
"super conscious beings," or SCBs.

Most people knowledgeable about this subject know that hybrid
beings and sometimes military personnel or other
official-looking personnel are reported during abduction
experiences, so I will not go into detail about them. [5 a-b]
The SCBs may need some explaining, however.

Super Conscious Beings

In my article Curious Correlations I gave an example of a vision
during which a "wise one" or a "guide" showed me a war that
would occur between Russia, China, and the United States at some
point in our future. The being who was with me is what I call a
super conscious being. [6]

During another unusual experience, I felt about the size of a
canary compared to the two human faces peering down at me. It
was a male and a female with white skin and black hair. At the
time, I felt as if they manifested themselves to appear human
for my benefit, but they were enormous. All I saw were their
faces, as they smiled down at me and questioned me about my
health. While I was talking to them their faces showed extreme
delight when I told them I was a vegetarian and was healthy.

Another example of my being visited by these SCBs occurred as
recent as this year. I was visited by three of these beings, two
weeks before my beloved 18 year old cat passed away. The excerpt
from my journal follows:

"May, 1997: I was outside on the porch. I was changing the
litter boxes and there were two beings wearing dark blue
overalls sitting in lawn chairs out on the deck. They
looked identical to one another. They took the form of old
men with gray hair. Real farmer types. Real simple. They
were observing me while I cleaned the litter boxes.
Observing me 'taking care of my babies.' [my cats]

Then someone wearing green overalls came right through the
lattice. As they went through it, I saw it faze and then I
saw a white light. I wanted to go with them. As they
approached the wall of the house, I watched again as the
wall fazed or went a little hazy and I saw a whitish pink
light. I tried to place my arm through the wall, but the
being became concerned for me. He told me that it wouldn't
be healthy for me and added, 'It takes a lot of practice
and preparation to enter the white light.'

[Because of the vividness of the experience, the tense
changes as I was writing in my journal.]

Now I am with two females. It's the beings again. These are
not aliens - they are the super conscious beings. They are
females and now they have taken the form of a golden wooden
cross. It looks like real wood, but it is gold. It is real
and alive - sentient. The wood is alive. It has
consciousness! It is so beautiful. These super conscious
beings are from the living consciousness. They can manifest
into anything. They are using the God-energy; the creative
force. Thoughts are things.

I remember encountering these beings before. They came to
see if I am worthy. They are watching me...to see if I am
worthy. I can't believe it." [7]

There have been a few other experiences with these beings and
they have always been benign, either showing me a vision or
interacting with me directly. The feel and "flavor" of an
experience with these SCBs, as I call them, is different from an
experience with a grey, or a tan, or a hybrid. The feel is also
much different than my experiences during which I see military
personnel.

It is difficult to describe what the super conscious beings look
like because they take on a human form that is best suited to
the purpose of their visit. For example, when they show me a
vision, I only see them in my peripheral vision. When they
interact with me in a way that requires me to see them, they
take on the form of a non-threatening human. For me, an elderly
person is a good choice because I view most elderly people as
more experienced than myself and deserving of respect. The only
way I can describe the super conscious beings is to describe the
emotions that flow from them: care, concern, love, wisdom, and
peacefulness. If they had long flowing gowns and wings, I would
call them God's angels - however, I know they are not angels.

The Ultimate Manipulation

There are many people who cannot allow themselves to think of
the aliens as anything but positive and "here to help us." I
wonder if these people have only had experiences with the super
conscious beings? I have had difficulty believing this regarding
the aliens because of a lifetime of experiences with them. I
have also refrained from calling them negative or evil, until
very recently during times when I am in pain because of the
lingering effects of their interaction with me. When I talk
about "aliens" I am speaking of the greys, the tans, and the
hybrids who have performed painful psychological and
physiological experiments on me.

I am now wondering what to think about these other beings who
are visiting me from time to time. Who are these super conscious
beings? I want to believe they are who I think they are.
However, with what I know about the aliens' use of camouflage,
screen memories and mind control, as well as our government's
use of mind control on unwitting Americans [8] I wonder if it is
safe to believe these super conscious beings are what they
appear to be. Nevertheless, they are here and I know I am not
the only human they are interacting with. Only time will tell,
after we accumulate more information about them, what their true
intentions are.

It is sad that the more knowledge we gain about these different
beings, the more questions we are left with. I fear sometimes
that some of us will not be able to continue the mental,
physical, and Spiritual struggle this phenomenon requires of us.
In the end, I fear some of us will be lost - left with nothing
to believe in.

The thing that keeps me going is Spirituality. I didn't get it
from the Lutheran church or the Baptist church. It grew within
me, probably because of my life experiences. God has been
gracious to me: I have a wonderful husband and family, and
although I experience pain from time to time, I have a healthy
body. I also have friends who pray for me and I believe in the
powerful and positive benefits of prayer.

My involvement with certain beings has taken me into the
Spiritual realm and what I believe to be other dimensions.
Unlike a lot of people on our planet, I know these realms exist.
Spirituality is what is important, not so much religion.

It is ironic that organized religion - what millions of people
depend on throughout their lives - has become similar to the way
the aliens behave. They seem to use a level of manipulation to
obtain their desired results. Some churches instill fear and
guilt to obtain your money; some religions teach that war and
suicide bombings will save your soul; while some aliens instill
fear and pain to obtain your Will. On the positive side, that
leaves some good churches, some good religions, and perhaps even
some good aliens.

I certainly hope these super conscious beings are who they
appear to be, because there are many humans who need someone who
emanates love, care and concern to take care of them.
