Of course it is possible to fake photographs or even produce photographs
that has mist or smoke in it. But just try it, and see how it isn't as
easy as you make it sound. Oh, they should be white smoke... and you
can't get that blue colour, even if you tried.

re: rods - UFOs caught on videotape
Here is a site with photograph stills that gives some reasonable detailed
analysis of the videotape frames, etc.

I do have a copy of the TV program which shows the actual video footage,
while hardly scientific evidence - it is still convincing.
All types of footage is shown, from news, documentaries, to private
home video, and some actual stills using normal cameras - all caught by
accident.
(Now, are you going to tell me, that all these independent bits of
footage were faked? If you say that, you are in complete denial.)
Also there's a guide as to how you can capture your own 'rods' video
footage, if you have the time? and a videocamera.
