Going to war with a highly technologically advanced extraterrestrial race is
not only insane, it's asking to be annihilated.  And at the VERY least it
demonstrates that men with big fucking guns when faced with what they CAN'T
control, load their guns and try to shoot their way out.  And of course the
fools at DoD DID do just that, and it served no purpose except to make asses
of themselves and prove to themselves that they HAD no control over an
extraterrestrial race.

Besides, Jimmy carter is at least honest, and he probably would
