IMO if each President knows about the existence of aliens,
George Bush would have decided they were godless and gone to war
with them already.  And not just for their resources, either (snrk).

Besides, Jimmy carter is at least honest, and he probably would
have said something.

Yep, Pres. Carter did have an interest in UFO's, and promised to
investigate the matter. He found out that Lockheed was busy developing
a radar invisible "stealth" bomber and the flight testing was at Groom
Lake. That was the reason he canceled the B1 bomber - he knew that a
better plane would soon be available, and the B1 would be obsolete
upon production.

But he didn't report on any "flying saucers" at Groom Lake because, in
spite of all the wild speculations and paranoid rants and fanciful
tall tales, there wasn't any saucers there (except for the tea
service).
