Yep, Pres. Carter did have an interest in UFO's, and promised to
investigate the matter. He found out that Lockheed was busy developing
a radar invisible "stealth" bomber and the flight testing was at Groom
Lake. That was the reason he canceled the B1 bomber - he knew that a
better plane would soon be available, and the B1 would be obsolete
upon production.

Carter canceled the B1 in order to shift funds to the cruise missile.
Please tell us about the better plane. The B1-B's cost about 200
million each. They can fly at supersonic speeds and they can carry
72,000 pounds of payload. The B2 bombers cost ten times as much as the
B1-B's, their max speed is 0.85 mach, and they carry less payload
than the B1-B. Sure, they are *stealthier* but the fact remains that
the B-52H Stratofortress is still widely used (about the same payload
as the B1-B, faster than the B2, cost per plane: 74 million) and they
aren't stealthy at all.

Don't get me wrong. I think the B2 is neater than shit. They look
scary as hell when you see them in the air whereas the stealth fighter
looks like a mutant plane. I just don't believe that B2's are worth
2.2 billion each. You can get 3000 cruise missiles for that kind of
money. Aircraft carriers only cost 1.4 billion. Shit, for 2.2 billion
you could

UAV's are the big thing these days. Exoskeleton systems for soldiers
are also being developed.

Anyway, it's pretty damn obvious that you have no idea what you are
talking about. What's not obvious is why you spew so much nonsense.
