#1. New attempt to unravel Tunguska mystery
New attempt to unravel Tunguska mystery
18:04 2004-07-23
A new expedition has headed from Krasnoyarsk to Evenkia (central part of the vast Krasnoyarsk territory) to see into the real nature of the phenomenon widely known as the Tunguska meteorite.
Researchers will seek material evidence denying the main version of the century-old events. According to this version, a huge meteorite fell down in the taiga on June 30, 1908.
"We intend to find proofs that not a meteorite but an extraterrestrial spaceship clashed with the Earth," expedition chief Yuri Labvin, heading the Tunguska Space Phenomenon public foundation, told journalists.
Using metal detectors, 14 members of the expeditions want to examine the taiga near Poligus township and the Stony Tunguska River.
The search area is located 500 km to the west of the site where previous expeditions were looking for the meteorite's remains.
According to Mr. Labvin, space photographs of this region show the presence of metallic debris, which can be related to a technogenic catastrophe, which occurred here 100 years ago.
The expedition will return to Krasnoyarsk on August 5.

#3. UFO History Has Come Full Circle (By Larry W. Bryant)
...During our documentary show-and-tell, the businessman passed around photo-copies of a heretofore unpublicized, two-page, "RESTRICTED" USAF telegram, dated Dec. 21, 1952. (The date has special meaning for the businessman; for in that same year, he and a couple of fellow students had witnessed a classic "flying saucer" in the skies of Tennessee.)
Since the teletype message retains the identity of the two fighter-pilot witnesses to the nighttime encounter, we can conclude that the printout of this raw-intelligence report somehow escaped the privacy sanitization that occurred upon USAF Project Blue Book records' transfer to the U. S. National Archives and Records Service. Indeed, according to the businessman, he'd acquired his copy from a former communications NCO of the 4418th Communications Group at Donaldson Air Force Base in Greenville, S.C. Apparently, the airman had purloined this copy as a souvenir from the worldwide UFO "flap" of 1952.

#4. Poll - Why don't we go back to the moon?
Why don't we go back to the moon?
Cost too much
There is nothing else to see there
Aliens told us to stay away
We have been sending secret missions all along
We never went in the first place
Don't know

#5. Feeling Is Believing? (By Lee Dye (ABCNEWS.com ))
Researchers at Harvard University called on aliens from outer space to help them solve a problem that surfaces frequently in everything from therapeutic sessions to criminal trials, or even just chatting with a friend. How do you know if someone is telling the truth when he or she recalls memories of childhood abuse, or being raped by satanic cults, or some other traumatic insult?
One clue that many of us rely on is the emotional reaction of the person telling the story. If the victim breaks out in sweat and becomes extremely emotional while recalling those memories, it's more difficult to dismiss them as false.
But all that really means is the person truly believes his or her memories are true, not that they really are, according to the researchers.
"The person really believes something happened," says Richard McNally, a clinical psychologist and professor of psychology at Harvard, lead author of a study in the July issue of Psychological Science. "But that doesn't necessarily mean it did."

#6. New crater revives Moon mystery
A mysterious flash on the Moon caught on camera 50 years ago is still provoking disagreements about its origin. Astronomer Bonnie Buratti says her new results show that the flash was caused by a 20-metre asteroid hitting the Moon.
If Buratti is right, such impacts may be more frequent than thought - about once every 30 years on the Earth, and every 500 years on the Moon. But other asteroid watchers think the flash was due to a small meteor burning up in Earth's atmosphere.

At 4-47 p.m. the object impacted in the woods close to the village of KECKSBURG, Westmoreland County in south-western Pennsylvania, about forty miles south-east of Pittsburgh. A number of KECKSBURG residents became aware of the object crashing when they observed a column of blue smoke ascending from the woods near the small town.
A seven year old boy who actually witnessed the object crash described it as "a star on fire". His mother remarked: "There was a column of blue smoke rising through the trees… there was another brilliant object hanging above the tree line and to the left of the smoke column, resembling a four-pointed star".

#8. Discussion Forum Focus
Come join in on our discussion forums. These are a few of the topics you can find there.
my opinions on what crop circles may be
i believe some are not faked. if anyone has read the bible codes will know:
2004 : there will be a guided missile attack on NYC (maybe september again)
2005: there will be a smallpox attack on israel
2006: there will be a nuclear holocaust in jerusalem
the 'visions' of nostradamus collide spectacularly with the bible-code and his ultimate vision was of the visitation of life 'elsewhere'.

#11. Anomalies Found in Roswell Metal (By: David E. Twichell)
In 1996, Linda Moulton Howe, UFO investigator and author, submitted a piece of metal to biophysicist W. C. Levengood, of Grass Lake, Michigan, for analysis. The metallic fragment is alleged to have come from the debris field of the famous Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash of 1947.
(*). "From Electron Microscope and EDS (Electron Dispersive Spectroscopy) studies it was shown that the metal was composed of contiguous layers of pure bismuth (Bi) and layers of magnesium (Mg) containing between 2-3 percent zinc (Zn). The Electron Microscope images disclosed that Bi layers are in the range of 1-4 microns thick and the Mg layers 100-200 microns in thickness. When examined in cross section, it was apparent that the layers were not smooth and straight but rather contained micro-undulations.
"One of the visits during Linda's Odyssey was at the Carnegie Institute, Department of Terrestrial Magnetism, where she arranged for an Ion Microprobe - Isotope analysis of the Bi/Mg sample. In the final report by Dr. Erik Hauri, there are two findings, which stand out as being highly anomalous.

#12. Why Don't Pilots See UFOs?
These arguments offered by James McDonald in 1968 are as relevent today as they were then. James wasn't of the opinion that UFO were necessarily interstellar craft, he simply felt that the question of the existence of unidentified aerial phenomena had not been adequately examined and deserved the attention of science.
James was, by the accounts of his co-workers, a tireless scientist who was interested in just about everything. Though he worked for the Atmospheric Physics department at the University of AZ in Tuscon, he was known for delving into many diverse studies of the physical universe. His interests ranged from determining if a lighter baseball bat swung faster would cause a baseball to fly farther, to trying to identify the source of a UFO report. He was a dedicated scientist who was widely published both inside and outside of his discipline of choice, atmospheric physics. For those interested in learning more about Dr. James McDonald, NARCAP recommends reading "Firestorm: Dr. James E. McDonald's Fight for UFO Science" by Ann Druffel.

#13. Fatima Prophecies
On May 13, 1917 a luminous Apparition of the Virgin Mary appeared to three peasant children and delivered a prophecy that would change the world.
Investigations into the Fatima event have proved that the miracle of October 13, 1917 was seen over an area of 32 miles by 20. An area of over 600 square miles.
The three children - Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco took their flock of sheep to a natural hollow in the ground known as the Cova da Iria to graze, just outside the town of Fatima in Portugal. While the sheep were grazing the children began to play. Suddenly there was a flash of lightening. The children looked up, bewildered into the sky. The day was quiet pleasent and there was no sign of a storm. They started to gather the sheep thinking a storm was brewing in the distance when there was a second flash that caused total concern.

We are posting this message here because Doug is a long-time contributor of quality newsletter articles for our newsletter. I know that for me, it is much easier for me to read books on the computer than in a printed format. Please consider purchasing the signed CD-ROM disc...
HI. I am Doug Yurchey; author of 'The Atlantis Tesla Connection' and I am pleased to announce (before its publication) a signed cd-rom disc of my entire manuscript. This could be a big collector's item as I believe I've written the New Chariots of the Gods. I am selling the disc for $10.00 which includes its case, cover-art, mailer and postage. It is nearly 300 pages in Microsoft Word that contain revolutionary and unique ideas never before published. The disc also has photographs, graphic illustrations and beautiful artwork.
If you are interested in purchasing this informative collector's item, simply send $10.00 cash, check or M.O. to: Doug Yurchey - 18615 Bryant Street - Northridge, CA. 91324.
The following is a list of concepts covered in the manuscript: A new view of Tesla, Atlantis and their incredible relationship; Tesla's wireless system is the system of the future and solves the mysteries in the distant past; the locations of Atlantis are illustrated as well as what powered this long lost empire; Human History is completely rewritten; personal letters from the man who may have been Tesla's son!; the most extensive study of High Technology in the BIBLE; a new look at Nostrodamus and how he has predicted current events; the reality of the work of Edgar Cayce, reincarnation and the Shroud of Turin; new views on space or how things we assume are natural are really artificial and the result of ancient intelligences; personal experiences and an exclusive interview of Uri Geller; my prediction of the 10th planet's distance came true!
(There are e-mails from a number of you who will receive this e-mail in a large E-mail Section). There is also an expanded interview of me where I describe my Close Encounter back in the 70s and a number of amazing experiences and information.
Finally, there are my Grand Conclusions of the ancient past and the far future; how they could be exactly the same. In these pages, there is the possible Purpose of the Human Race!
These are unique and positive revelations. 30 years of research has been synthesized into a convincing theory that THE PAST WAS THE FUTURE AND THE FUTURE WILL BE THE PAST. No other book will ever teach you more. thank you...
