Can anybody recommend good ufo movies. My favorites are:

ET
Close Encounters of the Third Kind

I really liked this one.

X files
Fire in the sky

A bit goofy at the end. The catacomb thingy was,
well, too imaginative.

But my all time favorite is The Day The Earth Stood Still.
It was pretty realistic.

I also liked Spielberg's made for TV movie, Taken, only because it showed
the aliens holding hands with the little girl, that was cool. It also
showed a grim side of human nature and greed, very realistic.

Mars Attacks!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this one. It is a spoof of many of the
older Sci-Fi UFO flicks of the past. Jack Nicholson (playing two roles),
Annette Benning, Bridgett Fonda, Pierce Brosnan, Danny Divito, Tom Jones and
many more are in this flick. It's a hoot!
