sci.anthropology.paleo. sci.paleontology.mesoamerican
and sci.bio.paleontology -- not to mention the intensely
moderated groups -- are totally convinced the specimens
shown in the URLs below are nothing but rocks and/or
concretions.

Because those objects looked like rocks, not like bones or anything else.
