Uforia (1980) . Sadly underrated story of a checkout clerk who thinks
she's been chosen by aliens to carry their message of peace to the
masses.
She attracts quite a following, and there's lots of resemblance to
Elmer Gantry. But then it seems the government is taking her seriously
for
some
reason...
Where have we seen that before?

"Uforia" is really good but only in the original cut the later shorter
cut has so much missing that it doesn't make sense/ watching "phantom from
Space" right now pretty good fifties paranoia film.
Alexa is still good 2004 paranoia film too!
Today I finally found out where the term "tin foil hat" comes
from..........
Alex : "Well while we are sitting on the table, they, put this little
cap on my head and it looked, like a yarmulke. It was some kind of
metal, alloy, except it had a hole in the centre."
The full read would not do too well in a Hollywood script.
B-grade ko0ky stuff.
