Another Investigator Left His Mark, RIP Earl D. Jones

From Ohio-based investigator Ron Schaffner, 24 Aug 2004

I have just been informed today that former UFO and Bigfoot investigator, Earl D. Jones died last Saturday of cancer. He was a Vietnam veteran. Many of you might not recognize this name, so allow me to shed some light on the contributions that Earl accomplished during the late 1970's and early 80's.

#2. Mangy Hyote: The Glyndon, Maryland Cryptid (By Matt Posner)

The case of a heavily-photographed cryptid in Glyndon, Maryland was sent to me by several readers. The story was picked up by the news media, and the increased attention this generated seems to have produced a concerted, and successful, effort to capture and identify the creature. (It has also produced copyright protection of the photos, which, accordingly, I can’t include here.) Readers also informed me of the “Elmendorf Beast” in Texas, which I will address at the end of the article.

#3. Poll - Confirmed ET evidence

If undeniable evidence of the existence of advanced ET life were confirmed by U.S. Govt., they would:

Advise the Public of the Findings

Convene a Civilian Scientific Panel to Study it

Conduct a Study by Govt. and Release to the Public

Classify the Information and keep it secret

Classify All Aspects and Suppress Civilians

#4. The Phobos Incident

Phobos, one of the two moons of Mars, has itself always been considered a rather mysterious object, as has its smaller twin, Deimos. Joseph Shklovskii noted member of the Soviet Academy of science and co-writer with Dr Carl Sagan of 'Intelligent life in the unverse', once calculated from the estimated density of the Martian atmosphere and the peculiar "acceleration" of Phobos, that the satellite must be hollow. Could Phobos be a hollowed-out space station of huge proportions?

#5. Bodies of WWI soldiers found in glacier

Rome - The bodies of three Austrian soldiers killed in World War 1 have been found frozen and almost perfectly preserved in an Italian Alpine glacier.

Mountain rescue worker Maurizio Vicenzi discovered the mummified bodies on Friday, encased upside down in ice at 3 640 metres altitude on San Matteo mountain near the Swiss and Austrian borders.

"Using binoculars, I saw what looked like a stain on the Forni glacier and went to look," Vicenzi, 46, from the northern Italian town of Peio said on Monday.

#6. Website Of The Month - Cities of Light (By: Louise Lowry - WOTS Staff)

Cities Of Light are Made in the Image of Man:

Their Greeting: Creating the new cities of light for the new millennium will require a shift in our group consciousness. This shift is toward the realization that we are multidimensional beings and that our physical reality is nothing more than a holographic projection of our consciousness.

Light becomes the conscious medium of our expression as well as the source of our energy. The fullness of the creative power of the universe is contained within the light. We are all connected from the oneness of this light and from this oneness all things emerge. Ideas impinged upon light, propelled by will: this is how form is manifested.

The abundance of information and open of the soul will certainly reach right out to greet you as you travel among their website. We are so please to offer Cities Of Lights http://www.citiesoflight.net/ our Award Of Excellence. Here you will find just a few things that are listed in their archives..

*Lady Kadjina Speaks - Lady Kadjina comes to us at this time of change to help facilitate our shifts in consciousness.

* Tawatnaw Speaks - Tawatnaw emerges to help explain the dynamics of Earth changes

*Matthew Messages - Matthew speaks through his mother, Suzy Ward, and gives timely and insightful messages on today's events

*Phoenix Rising - A spiritual healer talks about her spiritual contacts and principles of self healing

*Earth Dynamics Reports - Current observations on the state of the Earth in a cosmic context

Congratulation to our September 04 Cities of Light http://www.citiesoflight.net/ for their knowledge and spreading of the truth.

#9. The Astronaut That Travelled Both "Outer and Inner Space" (By Torbjorn Sassersson)

Former Astronaut and founder of the Institute for Noetic Science says: "non local communication forms, such as Remote Viewing and telepathy, are possible forms for ET communication, and claimed by some", and in another context he adds: "it is time to release the constraints on UFOs and extra terrestrial information that has been avoided or hidden by most nations, and/or in agreement with Extraterrestrials themselves".

These are astounding statements coming from a highly educated, awarded and intelligent man with a lot of credibility and is to be taken seriously. Also keep in mind that he is the founder of IONS a research institute studying parapsychology, the mind and human consciousness. The institute has, by the way, the known researcher Dean Radin author of the book, "The Conscious Universe", in its staff.

#10. Asteroid Shaves Past Earth's Atmosphere (By: Jeff Hecht)

NewScientist.com news service

The closest observed asteroid yet to skim past the Earth without hitting the atmosphere, was reported by astronomers on Sunday.

The previously unknown object, spanning five to 10 metres across, has been named 2004 FU162. It streaked across the sky just 6500 kilometres - roughly the radius of the Earth - above the ground on 31 March, although details have only now emerged. The MIT Lincoln Laboratory's asteroid-hunting LINEAR telescope in Socorro, New Mexico, US, observed the new object four times over a 44-minute period, several hours before its closest approach in March.

#11. Woman hurt in 'meteorite' strike

There are thousands of unidentified meteorites in the UK A woman believes she was struck by a meteorite while hanging out washing.

Pauline Aguss, 76, from Lowestoft, Suffolk, felt a sharp pain in her arm and when she looked down there was a one-inch gash along her forearm. She blamed a peg bag but the next day husband Jack, 76, spotted a walnut-shaped metallic rock on a garden path.

#12. Fire Fighters, Disaster Control and the UFO Potential (By: Dennis G. Balthaser)

That's an editorial title that should get your attention. It did mine several years ago, and I have finally obtained the book to review it. I had heard there was a Fire Officer's Guide used to train Firefighter's at the National Fire Academy in Maryland that contained a chapter on UFOs. I couldn't help but ask myself, if all these rumors about UFOs were untrue, why would firefighters be trained on this subject? And like so many other areas of my research, one question only produced other questions. In this case however, I now have a copy of the Guide and will share that information with you.

#13. Raelians share their message, insist they are not 'nuts' (By Diane Long)

''We are not nuts. Anyone can be interested in our message,'' said Francois, 58, who goes by that name alone.

A native of France, he's a medical doctor in that country, he said, and he's now working on a doctorate in biotechnology at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.

His denial was in response to a column in The Tennessean yesterday that poked fun at their movement. But Francois shared the skepticism when he first heard the message of Rael, a Frenchman who claims that he was contacted by aliens in 1973.
