#1. Terror In Lonely Places - Desert Mysteries (By Scott Corrales)

The desert is a place of great beauty, but also of danger. It is the
place where animals and insects inimical to human life dwell and
also the place seekers go to find hidden wisdom and revelations.
Traditionally the "deserted places" were shunned by the ancients,
who believed that the gods of the ruined cities in the desert
reverted into angry demons, having no one to worship them. Tanith
Lee, one of Great Britain finest authors of sword and sorcery,
writes a compelling account of a band of desert travelers who
entertain a stranger by their campfire-who should it turn out to be
but the demon king, come to the surface to listen to the chorused
voices of his "children", the desert predators. H.P. Lovecraft,
whose visions disturb our sleep to this very day, had the "Mad Arab"
Abd Alhazred title the fearsome Necronomicon "Al Azif" - supposedly
the sound made by nocturnal desert insects who are in fact, evil
spirits.

But so much for the worlds created by our gifted fantasists. what
wonders-and horrors-do the world's deserts hold for us?

#2. Extra Terrestrials and Human Psychics (by: Torbjörn Sassersson)

Many Out-of-body travellers and Remote Viewers report encounters
with presumed Extra Terrestrials. If we humans can travel Out-of-
Body and view remotely other intelligent species could probably do
the same and do it better. Therefore occasionally we could meet by
accident or on purpose by either part. This is an interview with a
veteran Remote Viewer, Lyn Buchanan on this subject. Prepare for
some extreme answers.

#3. The Search For Livable Worlds

Scientists eager to find life on other worlds - or at least ones
that might support Life as We Know It - felt a shiver of excitement
last week. Three teams of astronomers reported finding the smallest
distant planets yet detected, suggesting that Earth-size planets
with benign climates might be just around the corner. But there was
a bit of discouraging news as well. A new calculation suggests that
scientists may be looking in the wrong places for messages sent by
any distant intelligent beings.

#4. UFO Found In Iceberg (by Angie)

Alien crew is missing & still at large, warn scientists! The captain
of a ship rammed an iceberg in the frigid waters of the Greenland
Sea -- and found a perfectly preserved UFO frozen inside. What's
more, the alien crew is missing and may still be at large!

#7. Ringing Rocks of Pennsylvania

In Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania lies a field of boulders that just
won't keep quiet. Known as Ringing Rocks Park, this jumble of
enigmatic stones has perplexed researches for decades because of the
melodious tones the rocks produce when struck with a hammer or any
solid instrument.

Rocks that ring while fun and intriguing are not by themselves that
anomalous. The musical qualities of certain types of stone have been
recognized for thousands of years. For instance, the Egyptians used
large slabs of basalt to produce a sort of giant xylophone.1
However, this particular field exhibits a number of unusual
qualities that when taken together add up to a first class mystery.

#8. Walking in the NOW (by: Peter Farley)

"You can't put new wine in old bottles."

When one actually STOPS and thinks about it -there is only the NOW.
We can wonder about the future and have regrets about the past, but
the moment in which we are living is then wasted. The moment in
which we exist could be used to create a better future for ourselves
and the planet, or in correcting the errors of the past so they
won't happen again. The lesson of history must be learned in the NOW
to stop making the same mistakes over and over again, and to stop
continually reinventing the very same wheel.

#9. Edgar Cayce - Great Pyramid and Sphinx Reading from 1932

READING 5748-6
This Reading given by Edgar Cayce July 1st 1932.

1. EC: Much has been written respecting that represented in the
Great Pyramid, and the record that may be read by those who would
seek to know more concerning the relationships that have existed,
that may exist, that do exist, between those of the Creative Forces
that are manifest in the material world. As indicated, there were
periods when a much closer relationship existed, or rather should it
be said, there was a much better understanding OF the relationship
that EXISTS between the creature and the Creator.

#10. Tracking Down the 'jungle yeti' (By David Green)

Two amateur explorers hope to prove the existence of the
mythical "jungle yeti" by capturing the creature on film.

Adam Davies, of Bramhall, Greater Manchester, and Andrew Sanderson,
of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, are travelling to Sumatra in Indonesia to
hunt it down.

Three years ago, the pair found a footprint and hairs which, when
analysed by scientists, did not match any known species.

#11. Quote of the Month

Roscoe Hillenkoetter

"Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly
concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule,
many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are
nonsense."

From a public statement, 1960.
