#1. Betty Hill Passes Away

Betty Hill Passes
Away At Age 85

Betty Hill, the Grandmother of UFOlogy, passed away this morning, October 17, 2004, at the age of 85. Betty struggled with cancer for the past year. I would like to thank everyone who send cards and letters to Betty. She will be missed by many.

#2. Gordon Cooper, NASA Mercury Pioneer, Dies

Gordon Cooper, who as one of the original Mercury astronauts was a pioneer in human space exploration, has died. He was 77.

Cooper died Monday (October 25, 2004) at his home in Ventura, NASA (news - web sites) officials said in a statement.

"As one of the original seven Mercury astronauts, Gordon Cooper was one of the faces of America's fledgling space program," said NASA Administrator Sean O'Keefe. "He truly portrayed the right stuff, and he helped gain the backing and enthusiasm of the American public, so critical for the spirit of exploration. My thoughts and prayers are with Gordon's family during this difficult time."

#4. Did mankind visit the Moon and possibly Mars with ETs in 2039 BC?

First Moon Landing? According to Chinese historical tradition, a man and a woman landed on the Moon over 4,000 years ago. The engineer Hou-Yih and his wife, Chang Ngo, flew to the Moon on a "celestial bird."

Their descriptions of the conditions on the Moon were incredibly ACCURATE. Was their journey the result of an overactive imagination or did they really go there using technology that was later lost to mankind?

#6. Origins of Halloween

Halloween had its beginnings in an ancient, pre-Christian Celtic festival of the dead. The Celtic peoples, who were once found all over Europe, divided the year by four major holidays. According to their calendar, the year began on a day corresponding to November 1st on our present calendar. The date marked the beginning of winter. Since they were pastoral people, it was a time when cattle and sheep had to be moved to closer pastures and all livestock had to be secured for the winter months. Crops were harvested and stored. The date marked both an ending and a beginning in an eternal cycle.

#7. Woman tells her story of being married to Bigfoot

A fantastic love story has been recently unveiled in St.Petersburg. Psychiatrist Nikolai Boyarchuk said that he had copied the text of the story from the file of a female patient. The doctor said that the story that happened to Oksana Terletskaya was absolutely real. He added that it would not be immoral to write about it in press, because the woman either died or she would never return to live with humans again.

#8. Website of the Month - UFOs Over Phoenix (By: TJ Elias)

WOTS Award of Excellence winner for November 2004

WOTS congratulates UFOs Over Phoenix for being the World of the Strange Award of Excellence winner for November 2004. Jeff Willes has created an excellent website which contains a lot of original photos as well as the technique that he uses to capture the photos.

In Late 2002 NFOUFO Research&Productions was founded. NFOUFOs main goal is to promote UFO awareness in the general public. We would like to introduce ideas and concepts of the UFO Community to the mainstream general public. We are focusing on a down-to-earth approach to educating and empowering the public with historic facts, events and UFO viewing techniques, such as The Sun Technique in hopes we can open more eyes to the UFO reality that surrounds us all everyday. In challenging peoples belief systems with the UFO reality, we hope to open minds to new ideas, which in turn will naturally open the heart. Eventually, we can locate and eliminate fallacies of long held belief systems that we weren't even aware we harbored.(which shape our reality). Some of these beliefs are rooted so deeply in humanities subconscious they go back to THE MIDDLE AGES.

Even today it is still difficult to talk about the UFO reality with the majority of people we come in contact with everyday. Some of us still fear ridicule.. Don't give into the fear. It is your right to believe as you choose and voice your opinion. Now is the time to educate and inform the public. The government has been withholding information about UFOs and EBE(extraterrestrial biological entities)for at least 50 years. The belief that 'Ufos are science fiction' is a false belief deliberately instilled in society by those who seek control. The time has come for this to end. Congressional lobbyists such as 'The Disclosure Project' have been pushing the envelope for years. I talk more about it on Learn to See UFOs-The SunTechnique page.

We plan to network ideas at group meetings while addressing certain topics or questions. Hosting workshops to teach people hands-on how see UFOs. We have just produced UFOs OVER PHOENIX, a fun video packed with actual UFO footage and shows you how to use The Sun Technique to see ufos! We also plan on producing more videos, all with more specific aspects to meet the needs of our audiences.

The goal of this program is to seek out, evaluate and/or judge paranormal related web sites to determine a single monthly web site that will be awarded the prestigious World Of The Strange Award Of Excellence. Be a part of the team that accomplishes this.

#15. Lebanon bans 'The Da Vinci Code'

Few places seem to indicate how far this country has come from civil war better than the sunny hipness of the Virgin Megastore that fills a blond-stone building in the heart of the new Beirut.

Lebanon's largest mosque is being built nearby amid a cluster of lovely churches, a sign that the religious tolerance shattered by years of fighting between Christian and Muslim militias in these same streets is on the rise.

But there is a hole in the megastore's inventory that suggests the war's legacy has not entirely faded.

#16. Solar Cycle Update

Solar physicist David Hathaway has been checking the sun every day since 1998, and every day for six years there have been sunspots. Sunspots are planet-sized "islands" on the surface of the sun. They are dark, cool, powerfully magnetized, and fleeting: a typical sunspot lasts only a few days or weeks before it breaks up. As soon as one disappears, however, another emerges to take its place.
