What??? you mean, like the invention of the motor car was based
on the prior invention of the wheel and the combustion engine?
But even so, the motor car didn't evolve all by itself - someone had
to have the idea first.
Almost all invention is built upon previous inventions. Sir Issac
Newton devised a design for the first steam car in 1680.
Francisco Moore invented a vehicle automobile, in 1769.
Oliver Evans in 1804 constructed a so called "Orukutor Amphibolis"
vehicle.
Walter Hancock constructed two vehicles in 1834 that
transported passengers between London and Paddington.
Over the next few decades the differential gear was developed.
The modern gas motor was invented in 1860.
In 1884 Gottlieb Daimler, constructed and patented a gas motor.
Daimler obtained the invention patent, in 1889, of a double inclined
motor, that was very adaptable for automobiles.
Want to try again for a better example of how I am wrong?
That one fell through pretty badly.
You really ought to catch a TV show called "Connections" and
try to realize how invention is not as spontaneous as you think.
