Earth's magnetic field about to flip

Scientists say the Earth's magnetic field shows signs that it is about
to flip upside-down. The last flip happened thousands of years before
human civilization began, but the next one if long over due. This time
it will not just disorientate migratory birds and electronic navigation
equipment, it will disable satellites and expose all life on the
surface of the Earth to lethal radiation from the sun.
