DOCUMENTING THE COLLAPSE OF A DYING PLANET

NOTICE: On February 24, 2005, the former hosting company for Earth Crash
Earth Spirit (ECES) suddenly decided to yank ECES off the internet with no
prior notice for what I believe were totally bogus reasons (that eces.org
was "attacked" through the MovableType weblog program, which then shifted to
claims of "high MySQL usage").

Although I have set things up so that browser requests for eces.org now
point to this page, ECES will not be re-established as a web site due to the
amount of work it would take to migrate thousands of pages into a new format
(unless there is someone who would like to volunteer for that task :).
However, the essays that were at ECES are now available at awok.org, a
successor site to ECES that I had started working on shortly before this
latest fiasco.

If you are looking for a source for comprehensive daily environmental news,
I highly recommend Environmental Health News, an effort by John Peterson
Myers (one of the co-authors of the landmark book, Our Stolen Future) and
others at Environmental Health Sciences.

If you wish to write me, you can do so using the e-mail form at awok.org.

I apologize for the inconvenience.
