There was video of it.

Its photo made the front page of the local paper.

And police did not have a good explanation for the mysterious,
unidentified flying object which spooked residents for five hours in
New South Wales, Australia, last weekend.

"A black triangular object that made a number of movements and then
speared off out of sight behind the trees," is how authorities
described the item, according to the Dubbo Daily Liberal.

"I've never seen anything like it," Suzanne Fuller told the paper,
thinking the object to be 40 to 50 miles away. "It was hovering there
for five hours, and it was completely silent."

"It looked like a bird, but much larger, the size of a car, with a
flat top and a deeper shape at the bottom," she continued. "Once the
sun set, there was a light like from a lighthouse flashing on and

off,

every
couple of seconds."

"The police were here, and they said they had never seen anything

like

it before. Every now and then, it would move to the left again, and
then back to the same spot again."

Authorities viewed her videotape, and made an official report to Air
Services Australia, a federal airways monitoring bureau.

But it turns out the event was much ado about nothing, as the UFO
turned out to be a kite flown by local hobbyists.

"My neighbour came over laughing with the newspaper," said Paul
Cremin, a local resident who flies kites with his 13-year-old son,
Aidan.

"We couldn't stop laughing when we read the story," he said. "I

called

the police because I didn't want anyone to worry, and the policewoman
couldn't stop laughing either."

Cremin says he and his son were flying a kite for some five hours in
the part of the sky mentioned by Fuller.

As far as the lights going on and off, he said, "We use a

[flashlight]

to try and spot the kite in the sky once it gets dark."

"Reading that they saw it move a bit to the left, and then back

again,

I knew it was the kite. It does exactly that," he said, shaking his
head.

This is hilarious.  I've been experimenting with a magician's illusion
principle known as the "Pepper's Ghost" principle.  I've been able to
duplicate with precision accuracy some of the supposed best documented
UFO photographs in history.  I'm convinced they're all fakes.  This
illusion was designed to work on live audiences, which it does.  It's
even more convincing in photographs and videos.  I'm going to leak some
of my own chicanery into the UFO community during the next few years
and see how many bite.  I've even developed a way to see live aliens
inside the ship walking around.


In reference to your kite method.  I pulled that one when I was
younger.  I built flat black kites with a light source (usually a glow
stick) suspended below it, then flew them at night.  I was a smart ass
and used a fishing pole to fly my kites from.  BTW, this s another
magician's principle called "black art".  Basically black (the kite) on
a black backgound (night sky) cannot be seen.  Thus only my light
source (glow stick) was visible dancing in the night sky.  I also made
other UFOs and suspended them from the kite, they were illuminated from
within.

Lastly, I live in Phoenix and know for a fact that the Phoenix Lights
were a hoax.  It was a hot air rig built by two engineers who work at
Intel.
