There are dozens of reports that suggest perhaps Bigfoot can't be killed. In
1957, at Wanoga Butte, Washington, Gary Joanis and Jim Newall were
hunting, and had just shot a deer. Before they could
get
      to it, a 9 foot
tall, hairy creature walked into the clearing, and
picked
      the deer up, and
carried it off under its arm. Joanis, annoyed about
losing
      his deer, fired
several shots with his 30.06 into the creatures
back, but
      the creature never
stopped walking. However, it did emit a "strange
whistling
      scream". Perhaps
                        a cry of pain?

In October, 1959, west of Roseburg, Oregon, two boys,
one 12
      and the other
17, saw a Bigfoot near an abandoned saw mill. They
went
      back with guns to
look for it. It showed up, but began chasing them,
with
      its arms
outstretched. Strangely enough, it never caught up
with
      them, although it
easily could have. The 17 year old, reputedly a good
shot,
      was able to get
off several good shots with his 30.06, but the
creature
      kept coming.
However, it did fall forward onto its knuckles a
couple
      times. They wondered
later if it was herding them, to get them away from
its
      territory.

In washington, during the summer of 1966, there were
      numerous sightings of a
                        white/grey Bigfoot, 8 feet tall with red-eyes,
weighing at
      least 600 pounds
and walking like a human. A group of men often went
      looking for it, and
usually found it in a gravel pit. Roger True fired
at it
      from a range of
only 20 feet, and hit it at least three times from
his
      .270 rifle, but
didn't knock it down. Tom Thompson fired his
10-gauge
      shotgun from 10 yards.
He said it "screamed, a sort
of high-pitched squeal, but the shots didn't stop it
      running away."

May of 1971, the Ford family of the Jonesville area
had a
frightening experience with a large, hairy unknown animal. The creature
pushed its "claw" through the screen while Mrs. Ford was sleeping on
the
couch. Mrs. Ford's husband, Bobby and his brother, Douglas, pursued
the
creatur towards the woods. The Sheriff arrived and took casts of some
unusual prints. An hour later, the creature was back at the Ford's
residence. When it was shot multiple times, the manimal disappeared
from
      view again.

On June 26, 1978, Mike Lofton of Crossett, Ark.,
proved his
courage by shooting into a 7 foot "something" outside his home. The
incident
began as Mike was feeding his puppy when it began to tremble. He then
saw
this thing coming out of the woods. The 10 year old ran into the house
and
retrieved his father's .22 caliber rifle. He fired into the creature
and it
      fled into the woods.

In 1965, near Fouke Arkansas, 14-year old James Crabtree was squirrel
hunting, when he heard some horses galloping into a nearby lake. Then
he
heard a dog howling in pain. Investigating, he came up behind an 8
foot tall
creature, covered all over with 4 inch long reddish-brown hair. It
turned,
and he couldn't see anything of its face, other than a wide flat nose.
Everything else was covered in hair. The Bigfoot started walking
towards
Crabtree, who, terrified, shot it in the face three times with his
shotgun.
As the creature didn't seem to notice, the boy left as fast as he
could.

      In May, 1967
in The Dalles in Oregon, several teen-age boys spend their nights
hunting
Bigfoot. One night, they were moving through the woods, when they came
to a
tree who's branches hung to the ground. Pushing past them, they found
a
creature 8-10 feet away, that was 7 feet tall crouched down. Dave
Churchill
blasted it twice in the chest with his 12-gauge shotgun, which knocked
it
down. It rolled over twice, and then ran off. It broke through a
fence,
snapping three posts off at the ground. The boys returned the next day
to
claim their prize, but the footprints disappeared after 80-100 yards,
and
there was no blood to follow.

Some Bigfoot sightings truly deserve the title Paranormal, and some
are
often seen together with a UFO. Here are some of them.

      Autumn, 1968
In the Point Isabel area of Ohio, the Abbot family heard a noise like
metal
being hit. 15-year old Larry Abbott, his father, and a relative went
outside
to look around. They found the creature 50 feet away. It started
walking
towards them, and it was ten feet tall, with four foot shoulders. It
was
covered in light brown hair, and had very long arms. The teeth were
prominent, with pointed ears, and glowing eyes. Larry reported that it
seemed to put them into a trance, as he couldn't move or talk.
Suddenly it
dropped to the ground and they lost sight of it. Later, they heard it
near
the garage. The relative borrowed a .22 rifle, and went looking.
Crossing an
open field, it suddenly stood up 50 feet away. Larry put his
flashlight on
it, and the relative made a direct hit with his first shot. The
creature
uttered a horrible scream as several more shots were fired at it, then
a
white mist enveloped it. When the mist cleared, there was only
darkness. The
searched the whole farm, but there was no blood, or any other trace of
the
      creatures presence.

      Summer of 1971
On a farm near Sharpesville, Indiana, there were several Bigfoot
sightings.
Most were the usual, with a "rotten egg" smell, fighting with the
farmers
dog, peeking in windows, and chasing each other through the woods.
During
the following winter, the witness found that a small pond had
inexplicably
dried up, and next to it was a circular area 30-40 feet across, where
the
grass and weeds had been swirled and flattened in a counter-clockwise
motion. Dried up ponds and these "nests" are often connected with UFO
landings, although there is no proof that either are caused by UFO's.

      August, 1972
A Bigfoot displaying pretty unusual behaviour appeared in Roachdale,
Indiana. It often spent the nights pounding on the walls of the
Roger's
farmhouse. It appeared to be about 6 feet tall, and powerfully built.
It
walked on two legs, but went down to all fours to run. However, it
never
left any tracks, even when running through mud. It often didn't even
appear
to touch the ground, or make any noise as it ran through the
undergrowth.
Sometimes, the Roger's could even see through the creature. An hour
before
the first sighting, neighbours reported a luminous object pass
overhead,
which then exploded, though no debris was ever found. The Bigfoot
attacked
Carter Burdine's chicken house, and one two occasions massacred the
chickens
inside, dismembering them, draining them of blood but not eating them,
and
spreading their remains over a huge area.

Are Bigfoot physical, or non-physical creatures? Many display a
strange
      ability to affect electromagnetic devices.

In October, 1960, in Monongahela National Forest, West Virginia, W.C.
Preistley was driving through the forest, following a bus with some
friends.
His car was behaving normally, when suddenly it started to sputter,
and then
died. Then he saw a "creature with long hair pointing straight up
toward the
sky" standing by the side of the road. He sat there, staring at it
until the
bus returned. The creature, obviously afraid of the bus, dropped its
hair
(which was standing straight up) and retreated into the woods. His car
then
began to run again, so the vehicles continued on their way. Soon,
however,
sparks started to fly from under his hood, and the car died again. And
sure
enough, there was the creature standing at the side of the road, as
before.
And just as before, when the bus returned, the creature fled, this
time for
good. Checking later, Preistley found the points were completely burnt
out
      of his car.West Virginia

In August 1960 several men were camping in Davis,West Virginia. After
setting
up camp and after night fell several of the campers was cutting wood
when
they heard an odd noise. As they turned they were horrified to find an
8
ft.tall, shaggy Bigfoot with eyes described as "big balls of
fire"though the
encampment was surrounded by almost total blackness. The creature
simply
ambled off into the darkness w/o harming anyone. The next day
footprints were
found in the area but the witnesses chose not to investigate for the
obvious
      reasons.
