Interesting stuff...
My own theory has more to do with diamagnetism see...
http://www.hfml.science.ru.nl/froglev.html and
http://www.hfml.science.ru.nl/levitation-movies.html for the movies.
What this shows is within a very strong magnetic field molecular objects can
become weightless IOW appear to cease to be subject to normal gravity.
The problem one has to overcome with flying disks, isn't to do with
repelling molecules on the outside although that may suffice as a form of
propulsion or as a force field, to levitate things you need to create a
field around the whole craft which negates the effects of external gravity
IOW the weight of objects inside the bubble has to zero in relation to
external gravity.
Where this comes unstuck as far as I can see is that whilst it seems easy
enough to repel objects and therefore levitate things around a strong ferro
magnet, the ferro-magnet itself seems to remain immune to it's own field and
therefore subject to external gravity so it can only be a localised effect.
Or is it? If there was a way of amplifying such a magnetic field possibly
using rotation (passengers might get giddy LOL) maybe it could be possible
to levitate everything within a field? I don't know I'm not a scientist.
The other thing that strikes me as interesting about the effects of strong
ferro-magnets on diamagnetic substances is since diamagnetic substances are
repelled by both poles of a ferro-magnet so therefore exert a force of
repulsion in one direction, it should be possible to angle strong ferro
magnets in the form of rods around a disk made of something such as
pyrolytic graphite and make the wheel rotate. As long as you could make the
force of repulsion operate in one direction e.g by angling the
ferro-magnetic rod or using say lead as insulation it should in theory be
possible to create an electric motor and or generator that doesn't need any
other energy source apart from magnetism to run it.
I don't know whether this would in effect create perpetual motion? But AFAIK
"permanent" magnets such as strong neodymium magnets don't lose magnetic
energy in which case they are drawing energy from the universe itself, the
energy being replaced as it's displaced (so doesn't actually contravene the
laws of physics)
However what puzzles me about all this and leads me to suspect my theories
may be wrong is that if I am right then we don't need fossil fuels to
generate power and this way of using "zero state energy" (which is a bit of
a misnomer IMO) is so simple, even a child with some basic knowledge of
magnetism could work this out, why aren't we enjoying free energy?
Either I am wrong (which is a possibility I'm just an artist, mind so was
Leonardo da Vinci LOL) or there really is a massive conspiracy driven by
vested interests in regard to profits on selling fossil fuels to suppress
and debunk this stuff.
But considering we already use solar power and wind power technologies which
are more or less free energy sources. If there is a way to generate power
using in effect a more efficient way to draw energy from the universe itself
in this case electromagnetic energy we should be using it.
