Christ clearly stated His agenda, predicted His demise and why, and
utilized it for a prestated purpose. I don't believe that this is
refutable.

As you correctly point out in His day Christ had an agenda and carried it
out. He also spoke directly to the people, not through an organised religion
or through the auspices of the Government, and in a way in spite of
organised religion and sometimes terrible things that have been perpetrated
in the name of Christ by evil and misguided people, since the teaching of
Christ have been recorded it is still possible for any one to read Christ's
teaching and make up their own mind, So to some extent although the vision
may be clouded with divisive inaccuracies and misinterpretations it is still
possible for an individual to gain something from Christ's teachings

Aliens, otoh, who knows but one has to step back and try very hard to
rationalize that intelligence capable of light year travel would
somehow arrive here without a plan, an agenda and a very strong sense
of being successful.

Yes and that is the difficulty I have with the notion that aliens are in
contact with World governments. On the one hand it is claimed they condemn
things such as Nuclear Weapons and our reliance on fossil fuels, warn us of
imminent disaster if we don't change our ways and yet at the same time
uphold the very system they are said to oppose.

Even Christ in his day spoke directly to the people, and although His
message has been abused and is abused for selfish ends and for establishing
power over others, and even the message itself has been corrupted to some
degree, the fundamental message and meaning of Christ teaching is still
there

If you wish to argue that aliens, like Christ, believe their mission
is from God, then I would suggest we get the Blues Brother(s) online
as material evidentiary witnesses.

Well I dare say if they are anything like us they would feel their mission
to be Godly, after all you can't believe yourself to be made in the image of
God without feeling one has a certain monopoly on Godhood and God given
rights. That said if they are aware that the Universe is teaming with
intelligent sentient life which one might suppose to be the case if they
travel about in interstellar space One might assume they have greater
humility in relation to how they behave and be less inclined to interfere in
other Worlds.

Which I guess is the main problem. I suppose if they did reveal themselves
to ordinary people, people would start worshiping them as Gods. I don't
suppose they would want that.

I think the real message that any ET would want to impart to humanity is
that we are all aspects or children of God as individual parts of the
life-force in the Universe and we need to take on that responsibility
instead of hiding behind organised religions as a way of hiding from the
responsibility for our individual actions. Which I think is what Christ is
basically saying once you cut through all the nonsense imposed on the
Gospels by manipulative people seeking to control access to God in order to
manipulate, control and wield power over their fellow men.
