Hello,
People, we have got to band together here, and petition these people
the way we did to produce The Freedom of Information Act. We cannot
give up our rights as American People to the paranoia of Politicians.
The Patriot Act, is digging too deep. It's time that we do something
that will go from a Bill to Law by the number of signatures that back
it. Very simply, it should be wrong for politicians to enforce the
Patriot Act, in the course of a year when there has been no act of
terrorism. We can't let them arrest nor imprison us for no reason.
The best course of action is to insist that the FBI, has no right to
dig into every corner and aspect of life we live. Sure, license
individuals for the purchase of fertilizer, and explosives. Sure, Ban
the legal sale of pyrotechnics to the public. But, arrest anyone based
upon rumor, conjecture, slander or demation of character, and the
injustice by far outweighs the potential of justice on trivial pursuit.
If they cannot justify The Patriot Act, make it law to insure that
Congress, Senate, and the President, will recieve no pay, until our
rights are reserved, and we cannot be arrested, jailed, nore imprisoned
without substantial physical evidence to support the claim. If the
penalty isn't so severe, then it will be easy to write this into law.
But, seriously, it's more like the Politicians don't trust the
civilians in America, and there was an event once. But, we are not all
criminals, and we are not all suspects. We have to start treating
politicians like people, people make mistakes, intentionally commit
crimes, people feel safer when they can see everything everyone has,
and the level of control becomes a personal issue. I never want 5, 10
or 20 people milling around my house digging through things because of
a rumor and not be liable. If the politicians can make the mess, we
can put a bill into law by the shear number of signatures, and make
them accountable by so much that we the people refuse to contribute a
single tax dollar to a representative, or the highest in office by law.
