Everything evolves... nothing is the same today as it was yesterday.
Let's not confuse the dictionary definition of the word with Charles
Darwin's
attrocious concepts that we were all once amoeba and then monkies,
before suddenly popping into homosapiens.

All you're saying (in a straw-man way) is that you don't like the idea of
common ancestors. Somewhat the same as 'if genesis if false, then the
entire
bible could be false, so that can t be true'. Very pitiful arguments.

All you poor flakes want to think about is the Bible. Have you seen me
mention religion or the bible? No, but you use it to attack me and call
me a pitiful straw-man in the same brilliant (not) move. That my friend,
is what is pitiful at the moment.

If you want to be unconstructive; fine:

Let's not confuse the dictionary definition of the word with Charles
Darwin's
attrocious concepts that we were all once amoeba and then monkies,
before suddenly popping into homosapiens.

No-one claimes that. Next question.

There are also
some inexplicable short-term pattern changes that beg the
justification
of external influence, or "steering" as you say.

Please show us this evidence for steering and a steerer.

See the 'gap(s)' implied by my statement above.

God-of-the-gaps is also a pitiful argument. You might convince a
goat-herder
with that (who made it up before you, and has been proven wrong ever
since),
but not us.

Only YOU are talking about Gods here... not me. I said there were GAPS
in
Darwin's theory, and you attack me with bullshit about the bible and Gods
!?!
Take a chill-pill there, Niels, and get with the real world.

Point out the gaps.

None of our upright, homosapien ancestors are originally from this planet.

Evidence plz.

You rely on faith, I rely on knowledge. The keyword is evidence.

The key word is 'narrowminded'...

I'm narrowminded of what?

and apparently, you are too accustomed
to religious arguments to open up a bit and stop attacking total strangers
using some odd-ball, anti-religious, anti-bible sentiment that I could
really
care less about because it's totally outside of the subject matter.

I dare say that if you don't move your thinking outside the realm of
earthly
conumdrums, you won't be helping society advance much.

We are ALL
far too ignorant of the cosmos to spend our time wallowing in debate and
condescension over each other's lack of information about recent history.

Now *that's* not helping anyone get anywhere.

Evolution (of man) is a theory... a pretty flaky one, at that. There are
also
some inexplicable short-term pattern changes that beg the justification
of external influence, or "steering" as you say. <

Show them.
