This suggests to me that some of Einstein's theories and the science
based on them is a load of bunk. And personally I think one is far
more likely to be able to create a wormhole and travel across the
universe in an instant than one is likely to travel back and forth
in time. If I'm right it makes the possibility that UFOs are of ET
origin far more likely, because even rotating light beams can be
observed and proven to travel in an arc faster than the supposed
speed of light. So the speed of light isn't as far as I can see a
cosmic speed limit, there is no speed limit.

But it's been proven the light travels in straight line - no arcs)

Well what I meant by a arc was more the circumference of a circle
representing distance on which a beam of light from a rotating source could
be observed. When objects rotate they rotate at the same speed no matter how
far away they are observed but at a certain radius distance a beam would
appear to have to be travelling faster than light to maintain this constant
speed around a circumference of travel.

On reflection though I don't think the light beams can spin faster than
light what must be happening is the photons travel in a dead strait static
lines and the lines fan out, and in effect pulse IOW each beam propagates
like an arrow like pulse which gets staggered with the next as the light
source rotates and if one could actually see the light beams from above
propagating over light years of space one would see a spiral vortex effect.

Of course it still means that at any two points on a circumference at equal
radius distance points the observable rotation speed of the light source
will remain constant which means cause and effect or the transfer of
information/data can take place at an unlimited speed far in excess of the
speed of light. Which of course suggests time is a constant and the present
moment is identical at all points in the entire universe.

First they have to figure out what the gravity is.
Light is a wave bonded somehow with gravity.
We just don't understand how exactly.
IMO travelling in time, if exists, cannot influence
anything what happens now and what will.

Well according to the way the physical laws work it would appear time travel
may be impossible. That isn't to say there may not be other dimensions.
Course bearing in mind time travellers from the future seem to be a lot
rarer that ETs one may assume there is no future in time travel because if
there were we should have known about it yesterday. :)
