Sand worms are all over Mars.  A lot of strange things on Mars.


Spirit rover is currently in the Columbia Hills of Mars.  When it
entered these hills oddities began appearing in the background of many
of it's navigation camera's pictures.

Spirit rover navigation pictures Sol 549 - Sol 559 have many things on
them.  Note that these are the navigation camera pictures, not the
panoramic camera's.

No cities, or glass tube worms, but a 'spot' in the sky and, if you do
a blow up on some of these you will see things that looks like a cement
block, several flat square manufactured looking items, and 'shadows'
that don't look quite right.
