Hi.

This is my theory about the UFO Secrecy, and why it is bad.

The secrecy of UFOs has several reasons, and the reasons for secrecy
have changed over time --
finding more reasons allows for contiued secrecy.

The first reason, I suggest, is military purposes. For example, when
the crash of a UFO in Roswell,
New Mexico, happened in 1947, it was covered up because of the
possibility of it being of some sort
of military significance -- perhaps it could be used to develop a
secret weapon of some sort, and if

a piece of foil...is a ufo?
lol

you disclose that then your weapon won't give you any more advantage.
Such a program of developing

secret weapons might still continue today, and hence would provide fuel
for continued secrecy. Or maybe
it was thought to be a secret weapon of some sort, and hence disclosure
might

The next reason is the fact that big businesses, including the oil
companies, control the government
(yep, that's right -- I believe the government is ultimately controlled
by BIG BUSINESSES). Disclosure
of UFOs could provide free energy technology that would elimiate the
need for oil, and the greedy oil
industry would be toast. This could have been realized as the
technology was studied more thoroughly,
and it's free-energy potential was realized.

the oil industrie is preventing disclosure?!
they invest billions in alternative power, but they
don't want free energy???
oh boy...think of the profits for the industrie...

Free energy cannot be controlled, unlike petroleum -- if it's easy
enough,
anyone could build it & generate their own power on-site easily and
cheaply.
No more distribution lines to control, no more "grid", etc. think of
the loss
of profit. And it would replace oil, so no more "oil industry"
anymore...

The third reason is ego & self-image. The USA wants to think of itself
-- actually, wants others to think
of it, as the top entity in existence, evidenced in the phrases "proud
America", etc., which it is, at least
in regards to technology. Disclosing UFOs would reveal the existence of
a more advanced technology
than the ones here on Earth and especially, that of the USA,
demolishing that proud image.

they can say they invented the saucer
themselves, they can plant the flag on mars,go to
the moon and start colonies everywhere...
you claim they are to proud to reveal alien
technology?get real...

nope. I said that disclosing would ruin their "proud USA" image,
so they don't disclose.

how can you loose power with advanced technology?

Information is power. It's been said again and again. And an
advanced secret weapon only provides an advantage if it's kept
secret.

again, great pr
why do they use stealth then?
the advantage of ufo techs is huge, the pr is
huge,americans feel proud again.

But if everyone in the world can make it and use it, it has no
"advantages"... and if the gov't is allowed to keep it, then they
could potentially build a superweapon -- if everyone knows
everything about it, then there's no more reason to build any
superweapons as they'd provide no more advantage... anyone
could build them, and thus there'd be no point.

The fourth reason is information is power. That says it all.
Information is power, and in order for it to be
so, it must be controlled. Disclosure means loosing control of the
information, and loss of that power.

it gives a lot more power...imagine buzzing the
russian/iranian/syrian defenses with a saucer ...
give in or else....

Only if it's held by one entity, does it give power. Why do you think
nuclear weapon *designs* are still kept classified? If they could know
everything then nobody would have an advantage with them and they'd
be worthless.

Now, do I think UFOs should be disclosed? Yes, and especially if they
contain free energy technology.
Oil will run out within our lifetimes (some models suggest major
hardships in ~25 years), so the UFOs
must be disclose *within our lifetimes* and *before oil runs out* to
provide a replacement source of
energy. And, also, another critical reason for disclosure is the fact
that if these technologies are allowed
to be held under Government control, they could develop some sort of
superweapon that could potentially
lead to our extinction if used. If the information is in the hands of
the public, and everyone in the world
has access to it then there would be no military advantage to building
such a weapon because ANYONE

it worked well for a-boms ...imagine bin laden had
such thing as you suggest...
or do you think an atomic bomb is different from a
super weapon wich can destroy earth?

Atomic weapons COULD have been built by terrorists whether or not the
government discloses their own designs. They just haven't yet.

Ultimately, the question is -- if you've got free energy technology,
would
you disclose? Especially considering that fossil fuel, ie. oil, will
run out
in 40 years.

could build it and figure out how to defeat it. Considering how greedy
and corrupt the US Government is
(look at what they did with Hurricane Katrina, for example, delaying
aid like that, or the serious mis-
management of the war in Iraq -- which in fact should never have even
started! And, according to the
Constitution we should not have a standing army, etc.), continued
secrecy is more likely to result
in a potential catastrophe.

What do you think?

the us can't give evidence of aliens because they
do NOT visit earth, you want them to diclose
everything but their is NOTHING to show, and this
will continue until something is invented wich
lookes like a flying saucer and uses free energy
,believers will claim it is from aliens ofcourse.
because you WANT this to be true..

Well, I think they did.
