Interesting idea. I mean if you connect a wire across the poles of a small
permanent magnet one gets a small current in the wire. If this was done
using the actual earth as the magnet the current should be somewhat larger,
substantially so in fact and I dare say if some kind of World grid was
constructed using that principle either using wires or some kind of aerial
induction system it should in theory be possible to provide practically all
the energy needs of the planet.
Of course there is some archaeological evidence that such a system may have
been used in the past. I mean it might explain leylines because if one
gridded the planet up in that way it should over time alter the geomagnetic
conductivity of the rocks in the locality of such induction lines and one
would expect to see a remnant of this for thousands or even millions of
years after whatever cataclysmic event destroyed the civilisation that
created such a system.
Secondly it might explain how who ever actually built the Pyramids managed
to align them perfectly on a North and South Axis. Something which any one
can check for themselves here

This is quite staggering when one considers we don't even credit the Ancient
Egyptians with a knowledge of Pi or Pythagoras's theorem let alone
trigonometry which if true we may safely assume they couldn't have worked it
out observing and mathematically plotting the movements of the stars, and
since they also weren't supposed to understand electro magnetism they
couldn't have used a compass LOL. It's fairly obvious of course that Western
archaeology is wrong about the past, either because it is intrinsically
racist, the history of civilisation on this planet is far older than we
thought, or space aliens did it :) Whatever the case we may safely conclude
mainstream Western history and archaeology is wrong and based on an
incorrect belief system. Because this cannot be coincidence, the evidence
the ancients knew far more than we credit them for can be found all over the
planet and is overwhelming.
