Well actually, I don't think God needs followers. I mean the Idea that an
omnipotent God is that insecure is quite ludicrous. I think believing in God
is something one does entirely for oneself, because ultimately if the
Universe is God then every one and every thing is part of God, everything is
*One* and observing there is a force of constant creation and renewal in the
Universe demonstrated clearly in the laws of physics, is a positive way to
interpret things. But I think the last thing one should do is get involved
with any kind of *organised* religion, since the evil perpetrated in the
name of organised religion and the way it is used to separate people from
God by attempting to pervert and manipulate the truth and frighten people
with the horror of Eternal Hell would seem to indicate it is the way of
Satan.
