None of the above.  It's all about money and two classes of people:

money is invented by PEOPLE ,so if people want to change they find a better way of living and using the recources.
as long people want more than the neighbour there will be wars.
money is only a means of getting more than the neighbour.

When the people who own and print the money are corrupt, then the people who
use the money are slaves to that system.

and are happy with it...at least they vote for the parties who want this system,they want wealth
and they get it thus far.
if it's sustainable is a completely different matter.
