While it's quite possible there has been a silent and indiscernible take
over of the human minds on Earth, it is not likely that an extraterrestrial
species who has attained intergalactic travel would bother unless they had a
foaming desire to throw themselves back into the dark ages of torture camps,
deformed babies and people groveling before the Alter of Green Smelly Paper
while madly questing a muscle spasm.
