I'd like to discuss something I've just viewed....
It is the documentary "The Secret NASA Transmissions" which is all
about Martyn Stubbs studying the 2,500 odd hours of NASA video,
that was downlinked from the various Space Shuttle missions, from
around 1991 onwards... to 1994? This production is dated 2000.
He says that the Hubble mission alone took up 36 x 8 hrs of tapes,
from start of mission to finish.
He is the manager of a community cable television station in
Vancouver. At the time, he had the technical equipment to allow him
to record the NASA footage, and did so.
In studying the footage, he named the spherical phenomena that was
clearly visible on the tapes as Type number 2.
These are the so-called ice crystals, that it is called by, by
NASA, otherwise named "Fireflies" by John Glenn. In a famous
segment where a satellite on a tether, and the tether breaks,
losing the very expensive satellite - this spherical phenomona
can be seen in abundance all over the footage filmed.
The NASA audio commentary politely ignores most of this activity.

What really surprised Martyn Stubbs amongst the footage was finding
a new 'invisible' phenomena - which he labelled Type 3.
These are light streaks which are only present in 1 or 2 frames
out of 30 - no intricate details are mentioned in this documentary,
but it very much sounds like the "Rod" phenomena - due to the high
speed involved. The astronauts do notice this, when it is very
very close to them.

I downloaded this documentary last year sometime, and have only
viewed it right through, just now.
One can guess that nowadays, all transmissions from the Space Shuttle
are encrypted, and encryption technology was not in use, pre-2000?

Martyn Stubbs thinks that the two phenomena are related, but 
doesn't know how.
I'd guess that both show some intelligence involved with them -
that they are not random movements as such.
Perhaps the spheres, are just larger 'forms' of the invisible
type, and are 'slower' than them.

Note: There is Russian footage of the spherical phenomena.

He says that since he was able to downlink the NASA footage,
others would have been just as capable of doing so too.

Anyway, all this show that NASA does not openly discuss
these anomalies, and simply calling them ice particles or
debris does not explain them away.
The Type 3 phenomena is even harder to dismiss.

I do have a videotape of the "Rods" documentary, which shows
the phenomena flying around on Earth - so I would guess it
must be the Type 3 - in space? It fits the pattern too well.
