With Mars, I don't think you should automatically discount the
possibility of life being there, a long time ago - if it had the
climate to support life. Buried beneath the dust could be much more
than we can ever imagine.
We should keep the possibility open, so that we don't automatically
close our minds to what was possible, then.
If the suitable climate wasn't there in the first place - then, I'll
say the chances of there ever being life there, was virtually nil.

Well there are only two possibilities either we are alone, or we are *not*
alone. If we are *not* alone and there is more and more evidence pointing in
that direction then we have *never* been alone so at some point if we are
not alone we are going to find archaeological evidence of visitation or
inhabitance of other planets in our own solar system. In fact I think we are
probably more likely to find confirmation that we are not alone by finding
artefacts left by ETs in the past that we are likely to come face to face
with actual ETs. Mind there are some who would argue the ETs are already
here and have always been involved in our development. Of course they have
no reason to disclose that since they have more power to manipulate the
World if the mass of population still think they are Gods or Angels. Than if
it were revealed they are simply technologically advanced beings. I dare say
there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't take kindly to the
knowledge their religion is a total lie and human beings have been cynically
manipulate both by ETs and our own leaders for thousands of years.

It boils down to - do you want the truth? or don't you???
And can your mind comprehend the truth? If it is before you.

You may not believe the truth - because - it does not agree
with what you were told, and what you currently believe in.

How do you know if something is true or not?
If there is information which supports the idea or belief,
then it is possible.
And what is possible, is logical.

Our current beliefs can stop us from comprehending the truth.
Because religion is only one example of this.
Another is currently held beliefs - which governments contribute,
and our various academic institutions - sciences, mathematics,
whatever...

When there is conflicting information, then there are lies
present, or that it is not clear.
Religion is full of contradictions.

You can't simply say - "Provide me with the full hard evidence,
then I will believe...."
It is like the chicken and the egg --- which comes first?

Forward thinkers - theorize the possibilities, and eliminate that
which is not logical, narrowing down what is most likely.
Then search for the evidence, and you may find that it is
surprisingly there... all along...

That is only one example of thinking outside the box of our
established beliefs - which is only a temporary box anyway.

Religion is a lie, and they are not the only ones lying to us.
